i bought shoes from here because i had ordered the same ones and i didn’t think they would arrive on time for my event. they ended up arriving on time so i came to return the ones i had originally bought from here for store credit. they refused to take them back because they were “worn.” the only time i had ever worn them was when i tried them on inside the store. they were returned exactly as they were bought and included the receipt. i told the workers the whole story and even offered to show my receipt for the online order and they refused to even listen or take back the shoes. it’s ridiculous that they sell shoes that appear “worn” and then won’t take them back. either that or they need to clean the floors in their store because the only floor those shoes were on was that one.

Horrible. I was there to exchange a pair of shoes. I had originally bought 2 pairs on the DSW website. I decided to exchange them because they were not what I expected. I exchanged them at the Alliance store. Today, I decided to go to the Southlake store to see if they had a different selection and exchange one of the pairs because I was not "in love" with them. I found 2 pairs I liked and headed to the counter. As soon as I approached the counter, a lady, tall, wavy blonde hair immediately, "judged me." I told her that I wanted to exchange the shoes and buy the other 2 pairs. I gave her the receipt, she scanned it, or at least pretended to scan it, and immediately said that the shoes were not on the receipt. I explained to her what I mentioned above, and again, she said that the shoes were not on that receipt. She asked me if I had ordered the shoes on THE DSW website to what I answered, "What other website can you buy DSW shoes at?" She did not respond. All she kept saying was that the shoes were not on my account nor on the receipt. At that time, another young girl came up to the register. She punched a few keys and said the same thing to me, your shoes are not on the receipt or your account. Making sure they were loud enough for everyone to hear. They were pretty much questioning where I had gotten the shoes from. I kept asking the younger girl to scan the receipt over and over, and she finally did, and just like magic, the shoes were on the receipt AND on my account. After insinuating that I had more than likely taken (stolen) the shoes from the store and then wanted to return them for others, they finally said, "Here they are, we are good now." After all that, the shoes WERE on my receipt that had my name on it! By this time, everyone is looking at me, thinking I'm a thief. I guess my hair and skin were not the "right" color for the area. At that time, I was wearing $200 shoes and zero need to steal a $45 pair of shoes. Will never go back. And tell everyone that I can of this embarrassing experience. This is 2024 DSW ladies, 2024!

Went here today 3/29/24. Tall white employee with blonde hair was extremely rude for no reason. I saw her helping out an older lady and then she went behind the counter to do something. It wasn’t very busy but there was a younger gentlemen checking someone out and another older gentleman doing pickup orders so I decided to approach her for help. I politely said hi and asked if she could help me, she continued doing her work and completely ignored me. I figured she was busy so I said “whenever you get time” and still she did not acknowledge my existence. Then I said “or is there someone else who would be able to help me?”. Same response. So I said “No? Ok.” and walked to the gentleman doing pickup orders who was much nicer and helped me. A simple “please give me a moment” would have sufficed instead of whatever garbage interaction that was. This isn’t just bad customer service this is being disgusting towards another person for no reason at all. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because the other 2 workers were very polite and lovely. Shame on you Karen, for being a bully

As the other reviews mentioned, this place REALLY needs to improve their customer service. I visited it first time, a young lady with glasses and curly hair helped me checkout, she showed unhappy to be there and didn't want to be bothered, no hi, impatient, pushed shoe boxes to me after checkout even without a bag ... I guess this store hope people hold shoe boxes leaving the store, so the other people in the parking lot can know - ah, this is a shoe store ... Not going to come back. There are so many retailers to choose from.

DSW is my go-to place when I'm on the hunt for specific shoes, and I particularly adore their clearance selection. The store maintains a commendable level of cleanliness and is consistently well-stocked. However, parking can be a bit challenging, varying with the time and day. My only suggestion for improvement would be to increase the number of cashiers at the checkout, ensuring a smoother and quicker process. Overall, DSW remains my favorite destination for its diverse shoe offerings and fantastic deals.

Was looking for a work shoe that was listed online and couldn’t find it in the store. An associate tried to help and couldn’t find it either UNTIL he came out of the back 15 min later and found the last one available tucked away on a bottom shelf in the back. Thanks for looking so hard so I could have these comfy work shoes!!!

Always a great place for a huge variety of inexpensive yet good quality shoes for men,qomen, and kids. They also have a big clearance section at even deeper discounts. Their loyalty program is great as well - discount coupons and birthday deals! Worth checking out at any DSW store!
