The store manager Carson is absolutely phenomenal. Out of all the GameStops I’ve been to in the last 20 years, this is by far the best location I have ever visited. Store was clean and organized, great selection of product, and amazing customer service.

This is my go-to Gamestop.I think it's one of their nicer stores in the country, probably because they aren't too far from their corporate headquarters.I've gotten awesome deals on clearance toys and prop replicas at this store. The store also has very cool, knowledgable staff and a great selection of basically anything you would want from a Gamestop.

The kid up there was super helpful and friendly even though I went in right before they were supposed to close.

This particular location (Southlake TX) has a lot more collectibles and tee shirts than many other gamestop locations. The staff was nice and helpful. Would definitely go out of my way for this particular location again. Great shopping experience.

Had a terrible experience today at the Southlake location. The manager was extremely rude and unwilling to help me and my son. Other locations have been great but I will never go to this store again.

Carson and Jacob were very helpful! This is me and my brother’s favorite GameStop. Always friendly staff and a good selection of items.

Sold incorrect item TWICE. I bought a digital copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 a couple of months ago in store, and I was sold a PC version for the Xbox. When I asked a staff member if it was going to work on Xbox, they said, "I wouldn't see why it wouldn't." It didn't work because it was for PC. Fortunately, I was able to get a refund for the game. I later traded my PS4 for trade credit on the promise that I was going to be able to use it for Xbox gift cards. 2 months ago, I reserved a digital copy of Avatar: Fronteirs of Pandora for the Xbox series S. I asked TWICE if the game was going to work on my Xbox series S because on my receipt it said Xbox series X, and just like last time I was told, "Yeah, it's going to work." Today I attempted to buy the remainder of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and before I was charged, I asked again if it was going to work. Just like the last three times, they said, "Yeah, it doesn't matter if it says that." Then the same person told me that it was only available for the Xbox series X. (Context: I only decided to buy this game because I had trade-in credit, and you "used" to be able to buy Xbox gift cards with trade-in credit. I also have an Xbox Series S, which is a no-disk Xbox, meaning that I can only buy digital copies of games.) After that, I told them to give me my money back for the reservation, which they did. But I later tried to buy Xbox gift cards, and I was told that since December 1st, you can no longer buy Xbox gift cards with trade credit. It'sironic;, I only traded my PlayStation to GameStop on the promise that I could use it on gift cards. The worst part is that I never received an email saying that they updated their rules with trade credit. If I hadn't been lied to, I would've never wasted my time making the reservation for the game. I love GameStop, which is why I am a pro member, but it's frustrating how ignorant it can be.

There were two gentlemen that assisted my mom and I earlier this afternoon and they were both very helpful and kind. The store was clean with a great selection! My mom and I felt very welcomed and will certainly be back

My daughter and I have shopped at this GameStop for 2-3 years. We have never been disappointed with our shopping experience. Team Leader, Carson, keeps to the old ways of retail professionalism. He knows the products, he engages kindly with every customer, his shop is tidy and clean, he's helpful but not pushy; informative but not condescending. Today we were immediately greeted by a (presumably) new employee. I did not catch his name but he carried the same kind-helpful vibe as Carson. At one point I heard the newer sales associate ask Carson if he should complete a particular task; and Carson responded to him, "Yes, and thank you for taking initiative." This made my gen X teacher heart smile. Both collaborating harmoniously and professionally. Additionally, Carson remembers us when we come in. He makes suggestions and has real enthusiasm for the gaming world. And because it was my daughter's birthday he produced several loose Pokemon cards and included them with our purchase, just to be kind. What he couldn't know is that 2 of those loose cards absolutely MADE my kid's day! Big shout out to all at Southlake GameStop and gratitude to Carson for leading the way and nurturing the retail experience.

This rating is geared at GameStop as a corporation not the staff in store as they were kind and respectful to speak to and work with. The refund policy for new games is outright ridiculous. I bought a new game a few days ago for $70 plus tax, played a few days, realized it wasn't for me so I brought it back to return with receipt in hand. I was told that I could not get a refund due to it being opened via policy. I literally played it for a few days (Switch game) and brought it back in like new condition. The only thing that was offered was to trade in the game for $34 credit or $28 in cash which is a complete ripoff and scam. I'm better off selling the game for much more then that. There are plenty of other corporations that will accept and fully refund opened video games within the BRE period. There is absolutely no reason for GameStop to do this except via greed. I will NEVER shop at GameStop ever again and will discourage others from shopping there. Shame on you GameStop for implementing such a poor refund policy.
