Terrible Customer Service! I went to return a generator (in the opened box) that didn't work the day after I bought it. (After the Texas snowmageddon 2021). The Home Depot Corp return policy stated generators must be returned within 30 days of purchase. The manager on duty at the Customer Service Return Desk said No, we're no longer taking generators back as of two days ago. Said it was an email from Corporate. I read to her the Corp Return Policy from their website and she said it has changed. BS.....I took the generator back to my truck, drove to the next closest Home Depot & they gladly allowed me to return the generator. Southlake Home Depot lost my business, Lowe's is only 1/2 mile away.

very upsetting to see customers walking around without masks. no signs at any of the doors stating masks required. Won't be back.

Went into the store to look at a red KitchenAid stove as we are remodeling a kitchen in a new house. This was a floor stock item that was price reduced, but it did have scratches on it. The young man was helpful, said they might take additional off at customer service. Also asked him if they would store it, he said they do this all the time for contractors. We would need it stored until August first, 6 weeks from now. He said they do all the time. Then we went to customer service. This is where the whole thing went down hill. 1. Would you take additional off due to the scratches? No. It's already priced in the scratch and dent area (not what the rep in appliances told us, said it was a display model)2. Can you store it until the first part of August?No. We can only store it for 30 days. 3. Ok. So if we have it delivered to our storage unit, is there a fee?No. Ok so at least this was a "no" we expected. 4. So if we do purchase it today, can you extend the return time period from 30 days to 60 days?No. Really? I won't even be able to put it in our new home until August 1st. Not their problem, but really???Do you hear a theme with this store? "No"I don't feel like we were asking for anything unreasonable at all. Please store it for 45 days instead of 30. Please allow us an additional 30 days to return it. Nope, Nope, Nope. I would wait two more weeks to buy it to avoid these requests, but it is a floor item that might be unavailable in 2-3 more weeks sadly. But that's ok. In the end, I will be purchasing the KitchenAid stove, and the matching $1500 vent hood (that I planned to wait until end of July to purchase....at Home Depot as well)We also planned to purchase a package deal of appliances with Home Depot in July. However....now I will be sending my business elsewhere to purchase our.....High End StoveHigh End Vent HoodHigh End Refrigerator Dishwasher MicrowaveFarm sinkFaucetsPullsAnd no telling what else, but I assume it would have been a $20k spend. So....I'm writing this in the parking lot of Nebraska Furniture Mart. I'm sure they will be happy for this package deal business. Again. Home Depot's customer service fell off the mark on this one. Give us an additional 30 days...a few hundred dollars off. No? Well that's ok.Just a simple Yes would have changed this situation entirely. We've spent thousands of dollars at Home Deport over the years as a home owner, and also at my place of business. But No more. Lowe's or NFM also has our business for the rest of our days. Being treated like an unreasonable request....not cool at all. Sorry Home Depot. We are over it.

I really like this home depot location. It has what I need, it's clean, and everyone's so nice and helpful. Ben, Tom, and Noah were great! They were above and beyond helpful, professional, and made it a really good experience. Yeah for most folks, home depot is where handy folks hide from their family obligations for an hour each weekend, but this one is pretty awesome. I'll be back to do more hiding and shopping.

I have never been to a Home Depot and been stopped after making a purchase at the self checkout to verify what I bought without looking at a receipt just to see if I stashed or was attempting to steal something because of my appearance. NOT ONE OTHER CUSTOMER WAS STOPPED YO CHECK THEIR PURCHASES. Two cashiers watched me and my husband check out 5 storage containers, a box of trash bags, and 2 tubes of caulk.

Manager (nick) and sales associate not willing to help after customer care 1-800 number told me how to proceed. Went in 3 times within 20 minutes to explain what customer care advised how they could help. Each were unwilling and just kept getting more associates to say no we can't do that. Went to the NRH location 5 min later my mission was complete. Thanks for the poor taste and waste of time and gas when all you had to do was scan an receipt and card. Garden department rocks! Cashier and manger need help in customer service aka their job.

This is a great store. take it from a hillbilly like me. I don,t buy alot but i do see nice employees helping people out..The place is clean and ever greeter i see when i walk in the front door are polite and nice...Just egnore these babooms and goofballs that that are writing hatric reviewes...

Can not say enough nice things about this store. Today i needed a new light fixture for a ceiling fan. When they didn't have the right size Tommy put a new switch in the old one I had bought in with me to compare size I don't know what I would have done with out his help!

This review is in regards to Dave (I think that was his name. Older guy with white hair) in paint. We brought in a 5 gallon bin of paint that we bought three weeks ago to have it shaken. He refused to do it saying the machine couldn't handle it..... if that was the case why are they selling 5 gallon bins? We got the impression he just didn't want to be bothered by it.
