Clean and well stocked. However, there were no baggers to bag your groceries. As high as the prices are, I refuse to bag my own groceries. When I asked cashier, a much older gentleman of Indian descent, he seemed to be slightly annoyed and didn't bother to help the female employee who stepped in to assist.

Southlake is a very nice and well maintained and friendly. I have noticed a dramatic decline, both in the attitudes of employees and appearance of the store. I experienced a rude and self-serving demeanor from a lady employee when I waited to get to the shelf containing the product I wanted. After waiting for a period of time while she finished her "unwrapping" of items she needed to put on the shelf. She walked slightly down the aisle, I moved her cart to pick up my purchase, as I turned to leave and check-out she said, "You could have gotten one from the display right there faster, and you wouldn't have to move my cart." (Rolling her eyes) The second, and most important, We all now know the importance of washing our hands and keeping bathrooms clean. Here is Southlake's Kroger's bathroom. These pictures tell the story, no narration needed... Pitiful, unhygienic, and shows a complete lack of concern for their customers and lack of pride. "Caveat Emptor" in this store. SEMPER FI!

Constantly get expired food there (often a month or more expired). Constantly have to return the expired food for my money back (see other reviews for the similar problem). The meat department is one of the worst I have experienced given crappy selection. The butchers always seem pissed off when I ask for a special cut or even when I ask them to get something behind the butcher iced section. I guess their penalty is they have to work there for a living. That almost gives me ample satisfaction. You would think that this Southlake location would get it together.

This store is always on it's A game. Friendly staff, always clean, well stocked, big selection to choose from, fresher than fresh produce in a nice shopping center that has a well lit parking lot with plenty of spaces! Highly recommend this store.

This Kroger has gone downhill for a while now.. Not clean, understaffed as well as always being out of things that other Kroger stores have.. Unfortunately it is the only Kroger within an 8 mile radius of me.. I really feel for the staff that they do have there.. They work hard and for that I am thankful.. But the one department that is always filthy is the Meat and Seafood.. I WILL NOT buy meat of any kind at this store.. They seem to have a problem with expired dates and leaving those items on the shelf that look absolutely horrible.. Steaks that are turning grey and sometimes even chicken that has a grayish green color is disgusting.. Their meat wall is filthy as well as the chicken bunkers never looking like they have been touched with cleaner ... YUCK !! I unfortunately have to go to this store more than I want to.. Wish there was another Kroger that was better in my area.. Unfortunately there is not..

Yikes. From the lack of inventory to the store being dirty. Writing this review is my hope that this location will look into its presentation. Literally the clearance meat had labels on it stating it expires a month later. Come on, it was clearly mislabeled but at least correct it. The freezer section Was in complete disarray. There were also items in the store that had no labels or pricing at all. The staff was friendly but the store could use some help.

I miss the days of human interaction with the check out people. I hate bagging my groceries. I will order online if I have to do my own scan, bag and carry out. I understand staffing is an issue now. Unfortunately it has impacted the quality of the service.

Used to be a great old school grocery story with actual human checkers. No more. Walmart style do it your dang self checkout. Sacrificing human jobs for profits, when grocery stores are posting record profits?

Rude lady overseeing the self-checkout stations We're not familiar with the self-checkout machines and always use the real-live clerks. It's the way to help these people keep their jobs.

Horrible store with 2-3 employees only and one register that works super slow. Employees in general work very slow, that is why shelves are always empty or half empty. Also, they are extremely dirty, assuming they have never been cleaned, since store has been opened. The manager of this supermarket needs to be fired immediately. Very poor managing. I think even I would do better, starting with general cleaning of every shelf and rack in every aisle. The second is to work faster so the customers would not have to ask for every missing item to be brought from “the back of the store”. And third is to be more friendly and smile.

Their cut fruit never looks good. It's 6:17a and they're just now unlocking the door on the side of the building I parked on. When I asked if the door was finally unlocked when I got done shopping, the lady in the pink shirt with glasses and pony tail on the front end gave me attitude. She also told me the door was unlocked. I walked over there to exit after my purchase and it was not unlocked still. Just annoying and a little inconvenient, but I will not be returning just bc of the associates attitude. It's not that hard and complicated to unlock a door. Don't know why she was so put off my my asking to exit the building during business hours.

Store itself was out of many things, not clean, bags of ice leaking under refrigeration. No one working at the deli. I have been to this location several times but this is the first time I’ve written a bad review. My experience at this location is always a poor one but I kept giving it a chance . My checkout person made lots of mistakes scanning food, the person working in self checkout was yelling and screaming at everyone. I won’t be returning. The only compliment I have is an employee named Porshia she was so helpful and kind. She made my experience a positive one to the end.

Ok so the store itself is great, but the staff wow....it was hard to even give 3 stars. Went to self check out and had an issue with ringing up an item an employee acted very bothered because he had to assist me. Actually grunted at me and firmly told me "you are doing it all wrong" and "you know I haven't even clocked in yet" ... all while he couldn't be bothered to even put down his diet coke. And when I apologized for the inconvenience he screams across the store for another employee to assist me because he needed a code and stating once again that I didn't know what I was doing. I was so embarrassed as other customers and employees started staring. When the next employee comes over I apologize to her for making him upset she goes on to tell me he is always like that. Probably going to avoid this location in the future.

Don't blame the employees! They are severely underpaid! That's why they are always short staffed in every department.
