Please stay away from this center. The building is beautiful but the leadership and some of the staff are horrible and mean to kids. The leadership is aware and admittedly doesn’t care. When we brought up the concerns my children were removed from the program. After reading other reviews of people with the same terrible experiences I wish I had chosen a different center. Kumon is great, just go to a different center.

I share the same sentiment as the other negative comments about this location. Scheduling is problematic, respect toward parents is poor, and the treatment towards the children has been shocking. After a couple meetings with the owner, we realize she is in denial about how her center's staff treats children and parents. The center disenrolled our children today without discussing that action with us first, and honestly, I recognize that separating from this facility should have come from me much sooner. I think Kumon delivers results, but I recommend finding a center with a healthy environment.

If you want to send you kids to Kumon Southlake for afterschool education, think again. We just ended out daughter's class at Kumon Southlake after two years there. We are extremely unhappy about the rudeness and unprofessionalims of the staff there. This Kumon has a unique scheduling system where you need to make your class appointment 4 weeks in advance using their website. With two kids and a busy schedule, I sometimes forgot to make the appointment, and I was turned away coldly at the front desk each and every time even when there were clearly slots open with no so many students in the classoom. After several incidence, I contacted the owner, who agreed to give me a fixed schedule but I still ran into problem when she forgot to put my name down on the calender. One of the front desk staff showed no willingness to help and refused to confirm with the owner whom is clearly reachable by phone. When I tried to contact the owner, that staff told me rudely to "step outside" in a very condesending way. The unwillingness to help and to accomadate to their students' parents was just ridiculous. I also eyewitnessed that lady yelling and scolding the students for very minor issues. I honestly believe none of the kids or their parents should be treated in such a mannerless way. After communicating with the owner with no positive response, I decided to take my kids out of Kumon Southlake. Later, without any notice, we where charged with 2000 dollars. We contacted the owner, who told us they did not charge my younger daughter for about 9 months while she has been in the school for about two years and Kumon has been charging us for two of them after the inital 9 months for my younger daughter. The owner was trying to blame us for not paying the fee, while she has access to our bank account and was making monthly draft for the tuition of two for overall a year! She even mentioned charging us for a late fee while it is clearly their fault for not making charges on our acount. We never received any formal notice of the charge and never once the school staff or the owner has mentioned the missed charge or any plan for us to make the payment. We have never argued or questioned the monthly payment and never attempted not paying for that 9 months. It is clearly Kumon Southlake's management problem but the owner was trying to place the blame on us.Kumon does have a good teaching method, but the management of that specific school failed to treat their students and parents in a fair and professional way. My feeling is mixed when I decided to leave that school. The mistreatment from the staff and management was just too much to bear. So if you want to put your kids in an institute for after school education, I would suggest you to explore somewhere else.

I like Kumon very much. My kids were in Kumon for many years as well. But this Southlake Kumon has provided low level of services, the staff and owner are lack of curtesy and professionalism. They are more focused on get more fee comparing with other Kumon.I truly recommend you guys can go other Kumon.

We have been associated with Kumon of southlake for 10 years and our both kids have developed solid fundamentals learning from the teachers. The entire staff is very friendly and give personal attention. It is also amazing that Trish runs this very professionally and also has knowledge of how each student is doing and can almost provide instant feedback. Strongly advocate this place for anyone wanting to have their kids develop good fundamentals in reading and math.

Kumon has helped both my kids. They have gone from struggling in math and disliking school to being ahead of the class. My older son is now in accelerated math at school. It would not have been possible without Kumon and Ms Trish. Thanks!

We went to have a look and understand how they go about teaching, it is so commercialized that all they wanted to do was sign us up. We requested we meet with some teachers or the person who is heading the day but they said, we will call you which never happened and it’s over 3 weeks. Save your money, looked awful and looks like all they care is for your $$$$.
