I opened an account with TD Ameritrade through their mobile app. I deposited a large sum of money in my new account and they acknoweged receipt of the funds. When I tried to log back into my account, I krpt getting messages that my username or password were wrong. I called them and they said they had closed my account for identity fraud. I toldvtbem to just refund my money. They said that they could only do tbat after their "investigation" was complete. It has now been two weeks and now they tell me that they have just assigned someone to investigate. It's my money and they have STOLEN it. Never do business with TD Ameritrade, unless you want your money stolen. I am in the process of filing a complaint with FINRA.
