My sister came from abroad and we stayed this place. It's a place where you can get a two-bed for almost $700 per night. We were so excited before we left. But the reality was different. When my 7-year-old son tried to open the bathtub door, the large glass door fell and almost caused serious injury. I checked the whole house before leaving, but unfortunately I left a cardigan behind. I tried calling several times and left a voicemail. But they did not pick up the phone and give it back. Then the male manager answered the phone and said we had left something behind and would send it to me by mail. Even after a month it didn't come. I called and left a message again more than 5 times, but I was unable to contact them. Then today I got a call and he said, “I searched last night and this morning, but it didn't show up. So, I asked him “you told me you had it. can you look for it again today and callme back tomorrow? Then they said they had already looked for it and it wasn't there.so “If you expect any care or any respect from them for your stay, choose somewhere else. This is a dangerous structure for both children and adults, so we can be in danger, but there are no phone service , and also don't expect them to ever answer the phone. And If you leave something important behind, just think of it as throwing it in the trash.Very disappointed place. Ever.

This place is a great get away! They keep everything very clean. The bathrooms and showers are top-notch. We will be returning soon. Love it.

This is one of the more unique events centers you will ever find. A former zipline location it has a up to date and clean event section for rooms and events, Like marriages family gatherings and business corporate events. Really big. The biggest wow factor is the nest which is a is series of tree houses All with comfortable amenities but crows nests, safe but rickety sounding bridges, A lot of stairs but a ton of fun for adults and kids. The reason I gave lower marks to Service is that it's all automated check in online. You never meet the staff outside of the ground's keeper who's trolling around in a golf cart, super guy and I'm sure if there was a problem they could fix it but you never meet the staff. We will be coming back, And telling others. It is a bit remote so pack in all your food, Liquor beer anything that you could possibly one without having to make a trip. The facility does have washing machines plumbing electricity. And as I said is very clean and well maintained.Safety: Though I'm sure legally it is possible for people with disabilities there are a ton of stairs in certain places.

This stay exceeded my expectations and the photos don’t do justice for how magical, beautiful, and peaceful it was to stay here on my birthday! Juniper was perfect for just myself and it was so dreamy! Thank you Cypress Valley for such an extraordinary, unforgettable, and lovely experience! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway in beautiful Mother Nature!

It’s a really cool spot, but if you’re coming in the summer just don’t bother. These tents aren’t built with any type of ventilation in mind, so the temp inside our tent was about 10-15 degrees hotter than the outside. There is a tiny AC system but it does nothing. They couldn’t even run an extension cable from the powered camp store 20 feet away so residents can run a fan.We really tried to make this work, including trying to use the hammocks, but we saw at nighttime it was covered in ants, so it was unusable.Definitely not worth $200, maybe $50-100. I could’ve brought my own tent and I would’ve had something much cooler and more comfortable set up within an hour.

If I could give this place a 6th star, I would. Excellent service, great location, extremely good experience. We ran into an issue on arrival, which was rectified in less than 30 mins. Top class service. Very tranquil place and lets you connect so well with nature! Tents are great and so are the

They cancelled our honeymoon plans 2 days before our arrival “because of heat” as if it doesn’t get hot in Texas in July. Didn’t offer any compensation besides our refund after we planned our entire trip around their location. Wouldn’t call me back either. Only wanted to deal with my wife. There’s lots more I’d like to say but I’ll keep it civil.

Beautiful and peaceful! Loved the bouncy bridge entrance and having coffee on the deck with the giant cypress. "Rustic bathrooms" to me mean no plumbing, but these were fully plumbed, clean and comfortable, barn wood in chevron patterns, etc. Very short walk from Willow. Customer service is mostly automated. The humans were responsive during their standard business hours. Had most of the place to myself, enjoyed the stars, wildflowers, butterflies, and herons. Bed was comfortable, fantastic pillows. Would stay here again!

This was our first time "glamping" and had high expectations. We booked two tents and I picked them based on their names. There was no map provided of the tent layouts so I just rolled the dice and we ended up just across from one another. The entire weekend we only encountered one other couple who were staying in a treehouse. Overall, Cypress Valley seems like it was a great place to stay and enjoy but has faded a bit over time. There are three gas grills, oversized Jenga, yard chess, and spike ball. There is a covered area next to the camp store that had a table and lounge area. The camp store had an interesting variety of items and is self regulated via iPad for checkout. The pool was very poorly kept and the water was very green. We didn't venture a swim. There are also several hammocks that were very dirty so we didn't use those either. Staying in the tents you park a short distance from the site and wagons are provided to bring your belongings up. The tents are neatly appointed, clean, and comfortable. There is a medium sized Yeti cooler on the small front landing. Linens, towels, and bathrobes are provided along with a battery for power access. The battery has a very bring strobing light on it when all items are turned off that isn't the most soothing to sleep to. The exterior of the roof is covered in debris and mold spots. The mold spots could be stains but there was no obvious sign of any cleaning (streaks, patterned mold spots, etc) that would lead that to be the case. There is a very small exhaust fan that seems to be intended to move air but is no way capable of effectively doing so for the size of the tent. The first night was miserably hot and we were dripping with sweat until a storm came in. The storm was a very strong spring Texas storm and we woke to the tent floor very wet. We let staff know via text and subsequently nothing was done. The floor remained soaked. I kind of wonder why they ask if we need anything addressed. We also expected daily housekeeping of the communal baths/showers only to have one of the toilets in poor condition for the entirety of our stay illustrating that that was not the case. All communication was done through text. While it's possible they were there, we never witnessed any staff. All in all, it was an ok adventure. We would have loved to have been able to participate in some other activities that the area has available, but they were all closed.

Recently stayed here for 3 nights. It was so peaceful and rejuvenating. Staying 40ft in the air gets you far away from everyday annoyances and we were greeted by song birds, geckos, and owls. Spent half of the stay in the bath house in the lofthaven. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet vacation. I will certainly be back very soon.

We stayed at the Yoki. This was a very neat and a fun place to stay. Totally unique and an experience I would say everybody should try at least once. My wife wasn’t fond of the swaying bridge to cross to get to the house, but more so to go back across it to get to the bathroom, especially in the middle of the night. It is lighted and to me doesn’t seem dangerous but can certainly be inconvenient to some. But a better solution than the community shared bathroom the other treehouses offer. The bed was comfortable and cozy. Like the website says cell service is spotty, don’t pack heavy, it really is meant to just relax and get away and enjoy nature. It is as advertised in that regard. The soaking tub was a really neat cool feature of the Yoki too. It is heated also. It just appeared to have some green algae around the bottom near the drain.I gave 4 stars bc when we arrived the sun was out and pretty warm in there. So we turned on the “AC” and it made awful squeaky, grinding, odd noises the entire time and never did really cool down. Luckily we came in winter so we knew once sun went down we didn’t need the AC, and we opened the windows to cool down. I just don’t know how if this were the summer how comfortable would it be. In the morning it was pretty cold so we turned the same unit on for heat and started making the same awful sounds and didn’t put out any immediate heat so we turned it off and used the floor space heater which worked perfectly. And to be fair we never contacted the owners to complain or attempt to fix anything. Wasn’t necessary, just a heads up for the owners and next occupants. The other reason for 4 stars was in the morning we wanted a warm cup of coffee to sit outside and enjoy the sunrise. But unfortunately all the coffee packets provided were all expired, 12/9/22. We don’t do expired products in this family. And for the price of this place I would at least expect good fresh coffee. So I personally don’t think it’s worth $600+ a night but definitely a cool place and glad we tried it once.

We had booked the Lofthaven for our honeymoon. Unfortunately when we got there we were so disappointed. The bathhouse was unbearably hot and the hot tub wasn’t cleaned at all. The shower was too small and didn’t have hot water at all. The whole entire bathroom stunk and there was nothing to do to make it stop. The AC barely worked in the second treehouse where we were sleeping . We had booked a 3 day stay but ended up leaving after the first day because it was definitely not what we expected after looking at all the nice videos on social media and their website.

The aesthetic is amazing. I absolutely loved the layout. There were three things that caused me to rate it a 3 instead of a five. The property is located on the corner of two major streets/highway. I stayed in "willow" & could hear the cars passing. I wanted to hear all of nature instead of the vehicles. ? car noises are not relaxing. The other thing was the bed. It was not very comfortable. Everything was very clean & i enjoyed the property & bathroom area as well as the hammock & patio. The last thing was while I was getting to leave at 10 am-1050 am. They had workers outside of the bathroom area. That was not very comfortable. They should have waited until checkout at 11am.
