We used Hi/Lo Appliance to source a used 48" Thermador duel fuel range and double ovens. I was nervous about ordering the appliance, since Hi/Lo is in Texas and the house is in Utah. Mitch answered all my questions and handled all the shipping. The range arrived clean, well packed and in great shape. Six years later and the range is still going strong. I recommend Hi/Lo to anyone who would like a high-end appliance that will last, at a reasonable price point.

DO NOT use his services - he is slippery and does not honor good business practices. We used Hi/Lo Appliances, also known as Highend Appliances, and owned by Mitch Mann, for several refurbished built-in refrigerators. Never again. His repairman installed a part that it turned out we didn't need. We still paid for the labor to have this tiny part taken out of an older model on their lot, installed and un-installed in our refrigerator, but asked for a refund for the $250 part. He asked us to send it back to him, as his crew left it here. We sent it back, and paid for the shopping. He has not refunded a penny. Every time I contact him, he asks the same question, "Did you send it back?" This is obviously a stalling tactic, as he has asked this question repeatedly and the the answer is right above in the text thread. He also knows us well enough to know we are trustworthy people. After 5 months and countless texts, and as I am a fair person, I let him know that I would publish a negative review as of this week if I hadn't heard from him. Did not hear back except for, "Did you send the part back?".

Great buying experience. Mitch was great to work with and product is as advertised and in great condition. Minor piece was missing which we didn’t realize and Mitch just asked for an address and sent it our way no questions asked. Highly recommend.

The price on the appliance was great. The service sucks. We are still trying to get a small part replaced. I have made numerous calls to get the part and have been reassured that it would be sent and still no part. I do not even get a call back now when I leave a message. Very frustrating.

Remember to ask: “Is the diagnostic fee subtracted from the total bill if we decide to go with Hi/Lo?” This is something I took for granted. Hi/Lo DOES NOT do this. They want to be paid $79 for showing up, plus full rate for the repairs. And the gentleman I dealt with was rude.

My husband and I bought a refurbished refrigerator from Hi/Lo owner, Mitch, but the control panel stopped working within a month of buying it (when your control panel doesn't work, you can't get automatic ice or filtered water from the fridge). Even though the refrigerator was covered under the one month Hi/Lo appliance warranty, six months later Mitch hadn't taken care of the problem, so I gave up asking him to fix it. We're still stuck with the refurbished frigerator that doesn't work properly.

I just want to say how professional Mitch Mann was with his help and me getting my refrigerator. He was very professional and courteous and knowledgeable I will highly recommend him to all my friends and will be using his services and his company in the Future. He researched and gave me options and was able to find me what I needed.

These guys are great for both service and products. I purchased a beautiful built-in for a fraction of the cost of a new one. When the ice maker didn't work after a bit, they fixed it and made sure I was satisfied. Not only are they good at what they do, picking refurbished appliances v. new is a "greener" way to go...highly recommend these guys!

It was a great experience - they are the best repair company that I've used. Awesome. We had a freezer problem with a built in KitchenAid frig. I had 2 repair companies try to fix it with no results. Mitch really knew what issues KitchenAid had and sent out a tech who spotted the problems and fixed it.
