I have taken several of our dogs here and have been pleasantly surprised by how nice everyone is and how they take the time to explain everything. The vet office/hospital is super clean. I tend to notice every nook and cranny and the place is spotless. The pricing is fair / average. The best thing, in my opinion, is the staff seem to genuinely love our pets. I havent had them ever be demanding with the usual up-selling sales pitches pushing the customers to purchase unnecessary overpriced pet products. This alone makes the experience so much better. Every time I go the staff treat my pups and I like family. I have never waited long to be seen and the appointments are easy to get usually with same or next day openings. Please give them a chance I'm sure you won't regret it.

Spring Branch Veterinary Hospital Staff has been fantastic, everyone from the Receptionist, Vet Technician to the Veterinarian. They have been extremely friendly and treated your dog like it was theirs, with love and care, always calling the dog by their name. Would not take my dogs to any other Vet Hospital.

My experience at Spring Branch Veterinary Hospital was exceptional. I brought in my dog who had several hot spots caused by a reckless groomer. I was immediately taken to a room after arriving which is usually not the case at other vet clinics. The tech was very thorough asking questions about my dog and the reason for being seen. Soon after she left, Dr. Hughes entered the room to examine my dog. She was very compassionate and empathetic. You can tell she really cares and has a very calming sense about her. She was very sweet to my stressed dog and asked if I wanted to wait in a room with him after he got fluids. I thought that was very thoughtful. I was placed in a room while my waited for my dog and my stress melted. This veterinary hospital has a very calming, peaceful, and sunny ambience. It immediately put me at ease after being so stressed out. I knew that my dog was going to be ok because he was in Dr. Hughes' knowledgeable and very capable hands. Dr. Hughes and her staff are very caring, accommodating and professional. My pets are family, and I am so happy I found Spring Branch Veterinary Hospital!

We are frequent flyers at the Vet. Two senior citizen dogs and one puppy. Our last vet was having staffing issues. We loved it but it was time to find another place. I knew this was the right place as soon as I made the appointment. The prices aren’t outrageous and the care is top quality. We will stay here hopefully forever.

Awesome docs, kind front staff and convenient scheduling would be enough to give them 5 stars, but the compassion and care they show to every animal that comes through the door is 5 paws up!

My sister took our pup in for an ear hematoma while we were out if town. Our current vet was going to charge between $1700-2500 for surgery and didn't recommend draining even though draining has worked wonders in the past on her other ear. I was in contact with Anne Marie and she was incredibly helpful and absolutely amazing with giving estamtated quotes. There was a giant difference and was willing to drain if deemed a better route than surgery. They ended up draining it and was incredible with my sister and understood the situation of us not being able to be there. She originally saw Dr Hughes and Vanessa and my sister was very impressed.
When we came back, her ear was healing wonderfully. I love so much that they didn't prescribe high cost meds when the ones they gave were just as effective. They were more concerned about our baby than costs.
Fast forward two weeks later (today) took her in for a recheck and we saw Vanessa and Dr. Horstmann. They were so sweet and I loved even the simple act of them getting on the floor with her. I can not thank them and the staff enough for everything they've done. They listened, understood my concerns and was informative.
At the end of the visit, she got some treatos!
Even though this is an additional 20 minutes than our current vet office, we will be switching everything over to them for all our babies annual exams in August.
If I could give more than a 5 ⭐ I would.

My sweet dog was REFUSED TREATMENT in an emergency situation due to a policy regarding recently active seizures. Spring Branch Veterinary Hospital* disengaged when needed the most. They call themselves a Hospital*, but policies apparently dictate mere hospitality. Please quit contacting me about appointments as our business has permanently concluded. Unforgivable.

Took my pup to see the vet and our expectations were beyond met. The staff was so awesome and the Veterinarian was amazing!! Got my pup fixed all up in a very timely manner with care. Well be back for all his future services. Thank you!

Dr. Horstmann and the tech Vanessa were wonderful with my reactive German Shepherd. They tried a new strategy with him and it worked great. We had considered trying a different vet after 3 visits because he was so unmanageable but they were wonderful with him and we will continue to be a patient there. Great experience.
