Dr. Roberts is very kind and compassionate. She went above and beyond to find a specialist who could help my dog.

If there could have been zero, I would have chosen it. The personal in person are fantastic. We have been taking our dogs there for years. The follow up and test results are terrible. 3 days and 5 phone calls asking for results, atrocious. Dr. Veteran suppose to call back next mid day with results after first visit... Never heard a word. I called with a the promise that they would call back. Not a word. Next morning, called again... same promise. No call. Afternoon of the 3rd day, oh ..they will call you back after hours. No ma'am no sir. Horrible..... No matter what time you call.. is this an emergency or can you hold? Great, I will hold... to the second 20 minutes of holding.... would you like to leave a voicemail... wait, huh? Terrible....

We booked an appointment online at 6535 N Grand Pkwy Hospital and brought our pet accordingly. However, upon arrival, the front desk informed us that no appointment was recorded, and the slot had been given to someone else. As a result, we were turned away. Additionally, the front desk staff made no effort to investigate the issue or provide a clear explanation of what may have happened.

I have to say this was probably the worst Banfield experience I’ve had and I’ve been to a good amount of locations across the US. I understand that Veterinarians/doctors need to be blunt about the reality of a situation, but I felt this Veterinarian was completely unempathetic to my situation. When I came in and explained I picked up a stray off of the street and that I suspected she had parvo, I felt judged almost like she was talking to me like this was my fault and during the entire 3 hours I was there I felt like I was being rushed to make a decision that was basically either euthanize her or do outpatient care. She just seemed annoyed that I was still there and had an attitude that the prognosis doesn’t look promising even with outpatient care. I get you have to be realistic, but I felt utterly alone and not hopeful. It wasn’t until the vet tech, or financial specialist (I can’t remember her title) came in that I was finally shown empathy and hope because she seemed genuinely concerned and hopeful that there was a chance my puppy could survive. Even if she doesn’t, I appreciate that lady so much because that was a very hard decision to make and she at least instilled love and hope in our situation. I will not be returning to this Banfield, I will update that sweet woman of the prognosis when we see how everything goes but other than that I will not be returning.
On top of this, after talking to my vet tech friend she informed me of a lactated ringer bag which was not suggested at our appointment, and also the CMPA Canine Monoclonal Antibodies which is a newer drug with good statistics for recovery and it was never suggested at our appointment. This is vital information that I feel should have been discussed so that all of my options were laid out.
Anyways, obviously everyone’s situation is different but mine was not tasteful.

Saw my 2 dogs on very short notice for a vaccine they needed to be boarded at a kennel that same day. I’ve been very impressed by this clinic. They have always done a great job for me

I walk up to an empty reception counter. 5 solid minutes someone comes out. I ask if I can get my new found dog a microchip without an appointment. He says no. I ask what the price is. He has to go to the back and ask someone else because they can not look it up on their computer. He comes back and tells me it costs 40$ and also an office visit charge of 70$. For a microchip? Nope! Not the way to earn new customers! Smdh

Dr. Banquet is literally a life saver. She is compassionate & thorough. She saved my pup when he was experiencing an Addison's disease crisis. The care he received during this episode literally saved him. Additionally, after that scare, anytime I brought my pet in the staff were so happy to see him. They always loved on him a little extra. I'll always be extremely grateful for this.
Unfortunately, this isn't my experience with the other physicians there. Their bedside manners could use some tweaking.
Ms. Janie, Robert, and the techs are amazing. They demonstrate concern, compassion & empathy.

I typically do not write reviews of my experiences; however, today, I encountered exceptional service from Banfield Pet Hospital in Spring, Texas, at Grand Parkway. I have used the Banfield in Conroe since relocating to the area. My animal was ill, and I took them in first thing in the morning to see if they could see her. The front desk individual abruptly told me they were booked all day, and the veterinarian was expected to be in at 9 am. I was never asked about my animal's condition or to suggest another Banfield location. I quickly left and began contacting five different Banfields. Of the five, I spoke with Spencer at the Banfield in Spring, Texas, at Grand Parkway. He immediately asked me what the condition of my animal was and said to please bring them in this morning. Dr. Miller, the veterinarian, came out and discussed her prognosis and the following steps for treating my dog. I had never encountered that kind of care and customer service at the Conroe Banfield. Anyone who is a pet owner understands they are part of your family, and you want to make sure professionals are taking care of them.
Thank you again to Spencer, Dr. Miller, and the front desk Team in Spring, and I am glad I found you.

This place is a hit or miss. Sometimes I get good service. Sometimes I wait FOREVER to get rung up. Definitely need more staff in the front desk to be more effective in checking customers out and get their pets and leave. They make you wait.
