Took my Elna sewing machine here for tune up and repair. I was assured that the technician would be able to service it. When I got it back and tested it, it had the same issue. I was promised by the manager that she would contact the technician and get back to me. She never did and in addition, the buttonhole feature no longer worked. I was forced to trade in my beloved Swiss engineered sewing metal machine for a cheap, plastic machine made in china. Needless to say, if you can't fix it, don't make it worse. I'm not a happy customer

I love this quilt shop! Fabulous fabrics, great sales and customer incentives. I had a lovely time at one of their classes today, but wish they offered more on weekends for those who work.

My wife and I purchased a used sewing machine from their Spring store and was told that it was in top notes condition and only needed a quick cleaning. It was transferred to one of their other stores, where I received a phone call and was told that it needed parts. They could not tell me when the parts would get there or how long it would take to fix the machine that I had just spent thousands of dollars on. Do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere. This company likes to bait and switch its customers!

Disclaimer: This review is for the Old Town Spring location...Great selection of premium quilting fabrics from top brands such as Bennartex, Riley Blake, PBS, Robert Kaufman, and many more! With an abundance of notions and quilting/sewing kits and patterns, it's easy to get lost in all the fun of the craft! I've yet to leave with JUST what I came for, lol!Side note: This is a Bernina/Bernette dealer location, so if you're interested in that line or already own one - this is where you need to be. They frequently offer classes and educational opportunities, so you really can't go wrong.Why the lack of one star? Well... in my early stages of shopping here, I needed something that I couldn't get from a regular supplier and was promised they could get it and had ordered it for me. Several months (and I do mean MANY) later, and I never received a single follow up from my multiple attempts to reach out for status - nor did I get what was supposedly ordered... As a result, I'm not so sure I'll consider them for that again unless I'm in serious need and my trusty supplier can't get it...especially since the outcome only delayed my own project. To their credit, there have been some serious "supplier delays" these days so I wouldn't necessarily say they are to fault. Just for my needs, I could've used some follow-up. Overall, I wouldn't rule out shopping at either CQ location. The fabric selection is plentiful, as are the notions and supplies as I mentioned and the equipment selections are premium if you're a Bernina or Bernette fan. Oh and they do offer Longarm rentals as well with their *required* training.
