Wish I could leave a -5 star review. Let me save you from the online order nightmare. YOU CAN NOT SPEAK TO ANYONE, ONLY LEAVE A MESSAGE. On June 23rd I placed an online order for delivery, it automatically made it a pick-up order. The order took so long to be completed, I went in to purchase the items myself. The store associate said she would cancel the order. June 30th, here I am trying to call someone to cancel the order they are charging me for even though, clearly no one is coming to pick up the order that should have been cancelled the day of.

I can’t say enough good things about the care and compassion I received from Jennifer, the pharmacist at the CVS on Rayford. After having reconstructive foot surgery two weeks ago, I was in significant pain and hit roadblock after roadblock trying to get the appropriate medication filled. My usual CVS on Aldine Westfield refused to fill my prescription (on a Friday, after business hours with my surgeons office already closed), for no clear explanation—despite my repeated explanations that I had just undergone major surgery. Their dismissiveness left me to suffer through the long holiday weekend in excruciating pain—to the point I truly questioned how much more I could endure.
What followed was a frustrating and emotionally draining back-and-forth between providers, insurance companies, and pharmacies. When I finally received a revised prescription with the correct dose, the insurance denied the fill—due to plan limitations, leaving me once again without what I needed. My doctor would have to complete a prior authorization, which was being initiated on a Friday afternoon at 2:30PM.
Then came Jennifer.
She was the first pharmacist in over a year who actually took the time to listen and care. My insurance suggested I use GoldRx thinking the prior authorization wouldn’t be completed in reasonable time. It was actually approved—but when she ran the rx back through, it was only for a partial amount. Knowing what I’d been through, she called and offered that I could just stick with GoldRx, which allowed me to bypass my insurance’s limitations and fill the full prescription. Even though it meant paying slightly more out of pocket, it meant everything to no longer be in fear of uncontrolled pain.
What stood out most wasn’t just her communication and cheerful demeanor, it was her empathy. She took the time to call back after speaking with my doctor’s office, making sure everything was in place. In a system that often feels cold and indifferent, Jennifer was a warm and genuine advocate. Her kindness was a lifeline during a dark time, and I’m deeply grateful.
If you’re looking for a pharmacy that truly cares, I wholeheartedly recommend the CVS on Rayford. Jennifer, thank you—you made all the difference.

This is a horrible pharmacy. I was there yesterday trying to refill a medicine for my son. My wife had called prior to get it refilled through the automatic service. I got there and they said there is no prescription. I went to ask the pharmacist, he seemed preoccupied with something else, so I showed him a picture of the medicine. The pharmacist barely saw the medicine and said it’s off market, I asked “excuse me,” and he raised his voice and said “I don’t have that medicine”. We went back to our doctor to confirm that the medicine is available. The pharmacist was either too busy or lazy to fill my son’s medicine. CVS in other locations, if they don’t have the medicine they tell me another cvs location where I can find it. Then my wife went back today to get a different medicine for my son, and the pharmacist refused to give it to her because he thought he knew more than the doctor. We are no longer using this CVS location. I don’t know how they operate with such terrible personnel.

Great customer service that surveys are way too long! You would get better response if it was easier to do.

The worst CVS ever not a single employee to be found on April 20th at 6:20 pm. All I wanted was my pictures! Why even bother being open

This CVS has had a real transformation in the past few months in service. Tonight the young man helping in the drive through line was so fast getting cars through as quickly as possible! I got through the line within minutes even with 7 cars!

Their phone service is horrible. I just had surgery. We tried calling make sure order was called in. They absolutely will not let you connect to pharmacy to talk real person.

Only giving a 1 star because I have to give something!
The pharmacist at this location Huizfa Mohammad is horrible, he personally refused to fill my fathers prescription that was sent by his physician, mind you the prescription had already been filled by him once prior to this request with no problems. He didn’t call the doctors office to see if there was another medication we could change it to or to even tell them there was a warning, he simply stated over and over “I will not fill this medication, take it somewhere else”.
He was reported to the Texas state board of Pharmacists by me. I have since transferred all my fathers medications to another pharmacy and have had no problems. This is unacceptable! Will never deal with CVS again!
