You are right I am not a customer! And yes, my husband did work for y’all. The only reason you let him go is because you could not afford to pay him what he was worth. But you go ahead and make false statements about him. And honestly, I am so glad my husband does not work there any longer to keep his integrity. I have read some of the reviews on here and just like my husband stated you are not worried about fixing the customers complaint. You are only worried about making money. You say his diag skill were subpar but yet he is the one that trained your guys…. Don’t make any sense. You say he couldn’t produce the hours ? That was because your new manager would give all the work to his new guys after my husband was the one to diagnose the problems that your guys couldn’t. You try an over sale a job with things the customer don’t really need done and that’s the way you lose customers. My husband refused to do that . You may think you won because you cheated my husband out of his last paycheck, no matter what you say or comment back to me. He knew more than all the guys that you hired And could work circles around them. And there are some customers that followed him where he went because he is that good! He has never ever had any anything but praise at any other job about the good work that he does. So just because you can’t afford to pay someone doesn’t give you the right to tear down their character! You know he was a great employee. You can comment back and make up more false statements about him but that doesn’t make your business any better . Do better as a person and as an owner. Now you have a nice day.

I paid approximately $2000 in labor for Eagle Automotive & Transmission to replace the head on my 2001 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 L6. I provided all the parts for the job including coolant and break-in lube and oil. Within the first few miles of Eagle Automotive & Transmission completing the work, I heard a knocking noise coming from the engine. I immediately returned the vehicle to Eagle Automotive & Transmission for diagnosis, and they showed me that one of the number 6 rocker arms was not moving and they diagnosed it as a collapsed lifter. Since I supplied the parts (SBI – OEM Cylinder Head Components), Eagle Automotive & Transmission would not warranty their work. Over the past month, I was finally able to completely disassemble the engine and verify the problem. The lifter was not collapsed but was improperly installed. In addition, the work performed was very poor based on the following observations:
1) Lifter was not collapsed but instead showed signs of improper break-in (i.e. no break-in lube applied, oil pump not primed before starting engine, etc.) that resulted in premature wear and damage of the bottom of the flat tappet lifter where it contacts the cam lobe. See pic.
2) Failed to install all original exhaust manifold bolts. See pic.
3) Did not install the new exhaust manifold bolts provided.
4) Failed to install all four alternator mounting bracket bolts that secure it to the engine block.
5) Did not apply thread sealant on the number 11 Engine Cylinder Head bolt that passes through the water jacket.
6) Did not fill the radiator with the HOAT Antifreeze Coolant that I provided. Instead, Eagle Automotive & Transmission used regular tap water that caused premature internal rust of a brand-new engine head assembly and radiator.
7) Attached secondary electric cooling fan to a new AC condenser coil resulting in many of the fins becoming damaged due to improper installation.
8) Improper installation of the valve cover which resulted in at least one rubber bushing finding its way into the upper head assembly, leading to major oil leaks around the parameter of the valve cover.
9) Damaged new heat shield covering the exhaust manifold that shields the fuel injectors.
This was certainly not the quality of work that I expected after Eagle Automotive & Transmission seemed to do a good job of rebuilding the three-speed automatic (32RH) for the same vehicle only a few months earlier. In summary, I am very disappointed in the quality of work from Eagle Transmission for the $2000 in labor spent. Ultimately, I had to fix everything myself in addition to new parts and fluids that cost me an additional $1K. I have pictures and receipts to back up all my points listed above.

Have used them twice. First experience was great(transmission rebuild) still running strong. Second was not a good experience at all. Was told that truck was ready for pick up and when I showed up my truck was running really rough. Was told by the young mechanic that worked on it to go home and change some parts myself. Called in the morning and was told to bring the truck back in where I was charged for another diagnostic and again charged for whatever reason my truck wasn't running correctly(was in for a starter replacement). Finally after a long wait the truck was ready. Upon inspection I come to find out the wires were taped together, my scrape plate was missing, fuse box cover was broken. Was told that these things would be taken care of and still nothing. (Over a year now) finally got tired and replaced everything myself. Sadly I was really hoping this would be my go to shop being that it was so close to the house. But again the first visit was A+ work. I blame the young mechanic and the guy that works the front desk this review is more towards them....sadly they are the face of the company.

My experience with Eagle Transmission was a 10 out of 10! Keenan and his team first confirmed the problem was my transmission and then went to work to determine the damage. After the diagnosis, he researched and provided pricing options for manufacture replacement, eom replacement and rebuild. I went with the rebuild and my Ford Escape is running like a champ! Pricing was fair and the work was completed ahead of schedule.
I highly recommend Eagle Transmission!

I really appreciate the great work Eagle Automotive & Transmission did on my transmission. I also appreciate the help and patience they had dealing with a third party engine provider I picked. Manager Keenan very knowledgeable about the process and work that needed to be done.
Thanks Eagle Automotive & Transmission!

I am writing this review, not as a customer, but as a former employee. I was hired on almost a year ago and it was agreed that I would make a salary pay for my wages. About 2 months or so ago the owner hired a new manager and he brought some of his own people in and ever since then they have been losing money. He called me in the office one day and told me they were THINKING about putting me on flag hours instead of salary but we would talk more about it and never had another conversation about it. The manager called me in the office on a Friday morning after I worked all week and told me they had to let me go because they couldn’t afford to pay me my salary any longer. They next week I was told that my last check was ready and I could come by and pick it up and to bring my uniforms with me . I bring my uniforms and they handed me my last check which was only a little over $200 . FOR A WEEK !!! I My check was over $1000 dollars short. I called the owner who refused to answer my call and would only respond through text . And basically he said he was nice enough to pay ne salary for one day and flag hours the rest of the week. (Which was never agreed on or talked about again) I would check vehicles and then the manager would give the work to his guys he brought with him so even I I did agree on flag hours I would not have made any money. I tried texting the owner several times to have him make it right and pay me my money and he refuses to respond. I have filed a complaint with the Department of Labor. If he can’t even be fair and honest with his employees then I can imagine how he is with his customers.
Following up to a response from the owner to this review... Of course he will say all those things to try and protect his business. And if I would have known that he was changing my pay right then , I would have walked out. He even said it in his reply to this review ", we talked about putting him on flag hour in the future so he'd have the opportunity to make more money" . Those were his words " we talked about it for in the future" But i will let him say all those things because I know my worth ethic and integrity so i just hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. He is more worried about someone reading a bad review than taking care of the employees. Of courshe he would try to tear my character and worth ethic down to save his own reputation. I have NEVER had a problem at another job or getting my last pay. It just shows that you can't trust everyone. But I work for a much more honest business now. However, I will also continue with my claim at the Department of Labor.

I can't say enough great things about Eagle Automotive! They recently worked on my Range Rover, tuning it up and fixing a few issues, and once again, they exceeded my expectations. This isn’t my first time taking my car to them, and it definitely won’t be my last. Their service is always top-notch, with a quick turnaround time, and the best part is they’re incredibly honest and fair with their pricing. It's rare to find a place where you feel completely confident in the work being done, but Eagle Automotive is that place for me. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality auto service!
