Needed Shared branching services due to out of town CU. Waste of time only able to get assistance with 750$ withdrawl not a full service shared branch.

We thought we had found the "bank/credit union" that was a step above others, as the man who signed us up painted a rosy picture.New member beware! We have had many problems at this First Community Credit Union. The guy who signed us up said, "if you ever have an issue, just call me, and I make it right." We have tried to contact him many times and he doesn't return our calls. The reason we are leaving this Credit Union is that the web technology is poor at best, compared to other financial institutions we have used. One of the problems we've had was when we wanted to setup Samsung Pay on our phones. We have 4 bank/credit cards from different institutions. I was able to set up all of the first three in about 20 minutes. The FCCU card took me 35 minutes and I was unsuccessful in getting it setup even with FCCU's phone support. We have had many issues like this with FCCU's technology that we have not had with First Service Credit Union, or our Chase Card,If good financial technology is 'unimportant' to you, then you may want to give FCCU a try. If you want reliable, intuitive, and well designed banking applications, and good to great customer support of the technology, it is my opinion that you should look elsewhere.

Visited this branch twice, talked to customer service and sent an e-mail to try to solve a simple job: Pick up checks for a newly opened checking account. Personal Banker Daniel Arreguin opened up the account and I was never contacted to pick up the checks. He did not respond to my e-mail. I contacted Customer Service using their website phone number. When she could not help me, I asked her (Melly) to forward a message to Daniel and the Westview Branch for telephone contact about the checks. Again, there was no response. I finally scheduled an appointment with Daniel for the second time and the checks were there with a note attached "No phone number or email on file". I have been a customer since 1985. The staff could not find me?In my opinion, customer service was TERRIBLE by multiple employees. Should it take 6 weeks to get checks for a new account? As a long time customer, I was so disappointed in how a simple transaction became so difficult. Why did I have to go to so much trouble to get a box of checks?

Christopher Baiz is a gem and a great financial coach! He was very receptive and took his time to educate me and wifey as young entrepreneurs and business owners in this capitalist society. Excellent customer support from him. Highly recommended, ask for Christopher for all your banking and financial literacy needs.

He answered all of my financial questions with confidence which allowed my banking process to run smoothly. Aaron will be my go to personal banker while at FCCU.
