My family banks with the Spring, TX branch of First Financial and couldn't be happier!! We each have different needs (online banking, mobile banking, personal attention, customer service, mortgage lending) and First Financial meets us all where we're at. They are always pleasant, positive and overwhelmingly helpful. In particular, the interest bearing checking for seniors served as an initial draw but after interacting with the staff, we moved nearly all our accounts to First Financial.

Worst customer service i ever experienced in my life .I applied for Loan since my builders recommended this Bank but no response after application I had to call multiple times they say VP is not available send multiple emails to VP still no response lack of professionalism its been almost 6 weeks no updates

The day after I opened my account I called to find out what new account deposit hold times are. I was told there is no holds for new accounts. OK great. I finally get my online banking stuff set up days later (which was a nightmare getting everything set up in the first place). Deposit my paycheck. Look at my account the following day. Shows my check in the current balance, but not in the available balance. Cannot find any info online, if there is a hold on my account, or how long the hold is. Called the bank just a bit ago to find out what is going on and was informed they have a 2 week hold on my check and no-one can/will be able to release the hold for the entire 2 weeks. This is unnecessary with the way EFT's are almost immediate these days. This really upset me because I have been a banker and have never had any bank put a 2 week hold on checks. Called my personal banker 2 days ago and still haven't heard back from her either. Setting up anything with this bank has been super frustrating. Received my debit card and went to activate the card. Did not have a way to set up a pin number online. Still have no idea how to set that up, nor does it matter. I will be closing my account once my funds are available. This is absolutely ridiculous. Don't recommend this bank!!!

DO NOT I MEAN DO NOT!!!! PLEASE SIGN UP FOR ANY OTHER BANK!!! I do not have overdraft protection on my account BUT THEY STILL ARE CHARGING ME OVERDRAFT FEES!!! They also wait 3DAYS TO PROCESS PAYMENTS so it will show your balance is current when in actuality ITS NOT! they ALSO CHARGE YOU FOR HAVING A NEGATIVE BALANCE ON TOP OF CHARGING YOU A NON SUFFICIENT FUNDS FEE!!
