Shawn is a genius! I had a check engine light on on my A8, W12 Audi. The dealership tried to fix it for over 1 1/2 years, yes years! I spent around 14,000.00 trying to fix it at the dealership. The last thing the dealership told me was that it was a cracked engine block and they had to pull the engine to verify it. I declined to do it. My lane assist was also not working and they said it would cost over 7,000.00 to fix. I decided to get a second opinion. I took it to Shawn. Shawn kept it for two days and found the check engine light problem was the the dealership had not put the air filter cartridge in the passenger side on the engine air intake. He charged 400.00 to fix a problem that the dealership was not able to fix and charged me 14,000.00. Shawn fixed the lane assist issue for less than half of what the dealership wanted. Needless to say, I highly recommend him! He's honest and he is a genius at auto repairs!

Highly recommend German Auto Center. I’ve had several repairs completed here and couldn’t be happier. Sean and Angela are great with preparing my service order and going over it with me in great detail and transparency. Something that is very important to me as “auto mechanics” is not my first language lol. Excellent communication and professionalism and very well priced compared to other shops. I will continue to have my vehicles serviced here and recommend them to anyone looking for excellent quality work, honest folks and fair prices.

Was quoted $5500 for a replacement N63 BMW motor. Paid that amount on Jan 9 2025. Almost 3 months later, 3 months later !!!!! April 1 I receive an email that motor had not been purchased and is now $17,000
When challenged as to why almost 3 months later the motor was not purchased I get this as a response
“Although German Automotive is renowned with a stellar reputation, our clients understand that we operate with limited space and it is necessary to ensure safe and easy rotation and maneuvering of vehicles within our work space.”
What a crock Their shop is a mess and they had already dropped the transmission and pulled parts off before securing the replacement motor. That in itself is a huge error. They charged me almost $1900 for the “work” they had done. To add insult to injury they finally gave me an estimate of $14000 for the transplant based on a $5500 motor.
Dishonest does not come close to describing this experience. I pulled my BMW and found another shop with more reasonable prices with honest dialogue. Texas has a Deceptive Business Practice clause that I will be investigating. It goes without saying that I would never recommend this shop.

Brought my car (C43 AMG) there for a basic service today, dropped it off at 8am and all done by lunchtime. No unnecessary up-selling involved (typically to be expected at an MB Dealership) and generally a friendly and hassle free experience all round. Will definitely be returning in future, highly recommended.
