Goodwill Houston Select Stores is a thrift store that has received mixed reviews from customers. While some customers appreciate the treasure trove of items they can find at decent prices, others have expressed concerns about the store's high prices, especially for used clothing and furniture. The store is described as small, with a limited selection of furniture. The prices are considered high, with some items costing the same or even more than new items at Walmart. However, the store does have clean fitting rooms, and the employees are generally praised for their kindness and helpfulness. Customers who have shopped at Goodwill for years have noticed a decline in the quality and variety of merchandise, with the store seemingly prioritizing online auctions over stocking the physical store. Some customers have also expressed frustration with the store's refusal to accept large donations, such as furniture and baby cribs, due to lack of space. Overall, the Goodwill Houston Select Stores seem to be a hit-or-miss experience for customers, with some finding great deals and others feeling that the prices have become too high for a thrift store.
I love this place! Can’t tell you how many treasures I’ve found here! Though their prices are getting a bit high, the employees are always amazing!!

A small store. High prices. But they do have changing rooms. Not much furniture. Some of their used clothing can be purchased at Walmart for the same price or less. Unbelievable.

I used to like shopping at Goodwill since my kids were little. They’re young adults now and I rarely go now because. For a secondhand store, the clothes is too pricey sometimes it’s cheaper to buy new
