I recently had a repair done at Adams in The Woodlands. (I had previously taken my vehicles to Cypress, but moved). The cost was substantial, but we pay extra because the service and quality is worth it. There was some issues with the 3rd party payment plan's fine print that I didn't know until after signing off, as well as a little bit of blind trust on my part. After a week of being salty, I finally took the GM's Mike's call and after hearing me out on all the nuances of my story, he took it upon himself to offer a resolution that was above expectations.

This sucks because we've been using this place for years and I always thought we had a good relationship, they seemed to always take care of us but I was very wrong. We got a few crazy high estimates on work they insisted on being done recently and regretfully went through with the first one. After backing out of the second set of work only 2 MONTHS after getting the first set of work done, we ran the changes they insisted on making by a few other mechanics and they both told us the changes were complete bogus and the car was in great condition. I won't say this company is a complete sham, but please take caution and get a second opinion when getting large amounts of work done by them.

SCAM and a great example of how power hungry people are. They people used and abused their power over my family because we trusted them. We have taken multiple cars to them and they have quoted us on insane repairs that have costed us over 20k. When they had finally told us that the car was no longer able to run and we’d need to do copious amounts of repairs AGAIN, two months after spending over 5k on repairs, we took it to another shop and they told us NOTHING was wrong with the car. Absolute waste of not only time but so much money on these awful people. I wish I could be there to watch all of the karma come for you people.

You are very close to my home and very convenient but last time I came to get tire replacement the cost was much higher than BMW dealer for exact same tire , which they had in stock .

I previously had a great experience at this place, but today was a different story. The fuel pump on my car has been slowly going out for two years now and I called today requesting an estimate for replacing it. To my dismay the guy refused to create a quote for me over the phone like every other place I called, instead he wanted me to drive for an hour to get my car “inspected” by their shop first. That’s a bad situation for someone with a failing fuel pump since I obviously don’t want to schedule the repair to be done until I know the cost involved.
In a surprising twist, Joe Meyers Toyota saved me. I gave them a call next, got the labor quote ($450) over the phone and they are even allowing me to source my own fuel pump that I will buy at cost. I still like Adam‘s Automotive, but the red tape is a bit too much. Every other automotive repair chain I called (Sun Auto, Service Street, etc) was able to get me a quote for the repair immediately, but not them.
