I wanted some cherry turnovers, none of them had the icing on them. So I asked the bakery employees to please drizzle a little icing on the turnovers. They said no, that they did not do that. I said so I can get a cake made any way I want it, but you won't put icing on 4 turnovers? She said no we don't do that. They were lazy and did not care about serving the customer. They were almost rude.

This particular H‑E‑B location is not great. I've shopped here for around 5 yrs and consistently have noticed issues with their expiration dates - I don't particularly want to buy things that state they expire today or tomorrow. I've accidentally have bought expired items bc I didn't check - they have refunded no problem. The deli section is hit or miss depending on who's there - there have been times when they're fast and others where they will be having a full conversation while ignoring the multiple customers accumulating. Also have had issues like the picture before where the machine is clearly not clean before they cut my order. The expiration dates and the crappy produce is the main issues at this location. Also baggers should be a bit more careful - well it wasn't the bagger it was the cashier who was obviously frustrated with the poor bagger who was doing his job just fine. The cashier decided to start "helping" by dropping my groceries into the bags. Including the eggs which made a huge noise - who DROPS an egg carton into a bag from all the way on top?!? I double check my eggs before getting them so I know they were in perfect condition - I have one broken now - I get it it's just one - but it's still annoying considering how expensive everything thing for it to be the result of someone dropping eggs like that. The egg thing is kinda ranty but it just happened so I finally wrote the review I've been wanting to. Oh and the pharmacy SUCKS! There's been way too many times I go pick up a prescription after they tell me it's gonna be ready only to be told I need to wait an extra 10 minutes "bc they're still working on that" - mind you it's not a prescription they have to produce at the pharmacy it's tablets that come in prepackaged push out sheets.

I generally I like this store it's typical of H-E-B , parking is never enough . I buy the fresh rolls weekly for my lunch and I've seen a marked decrease in size from ~ 6" to around 3" . I understand trying to keep costs but 50% sizing down is ridiculous.

This store has become a total DISASTER lately. Additional shelves have been added recently to the aisles making it MORE crowded and hard to find items that you used to know their location. The meat section inventory has dwindled down to almost nothing. MAKE SURE you check that all items you bought were actually put into your cart as they now have some VERY inept cashiers. Today I had to drive back to retrieve a poultry order the cashier kid forgot to give me. They spend more time chatting with each other at the register than concentrating on what they are supposed to be doing. They LOST our frequent business. "My HEB", what a misleading statement.

Nicest grocery store I've been to. Clean, organized, well stocked. Very nice employees. I have never been disappointed with produce and meat. This is definitely my go to location for grocery shopping.

They are very friendly, clean and helpful absolutely love this H-E-B. I've never had a problem I've been to the one on sawdust and it's not the same.

I order a birthday cake with pineapple filling and they tell me I need to pay extra for this and I was ok with this my surprise was when I cut the cake was any filling was just the bread I feel so embarrassed in front of my guests. I call next day to the bakery to inform that they tell me the manager is going to call me back I leave all my information but the manager never call I call yesterday and today they tell me same the manager is going to call me and she never did. I went to the bakery in person and the employee call the bakery manager to her cell phone. The manager tell me she can’t do anything about this if I don’t have the barcode on the cake. I’m very disappointed poor customer service. Please never order cake from this place they don’t give you the right thing and they act they don’t care about it.

Love this bakery look I learned the hard way , the other morning I was looking for a donut after getting my breakfast tacos ( look I know I'm swimming more to burn off calories) so ran n2 Shipley?? You ready ?? 2 gd donuts just regular 2.38$$?? Wtfudge So ol gal ain't goin back .not worth the convenience. Go to heb bakery they are .68 cents. !!! And fresh best of all they have the cronuts!!! So gosh dang good. Plus all the other stuff canolis' great individual cupcakes . Pastry creme puffs. Stop in grab something.

Applied for a position, they asked me why i wanted to work there and i said "for money" and the interview pretty much ended there. I'm tired of all of these corporations paying $15 an hour and making you role play someone you're not to get a job there. really cringe. also told the manager that i was going to work there 6 months max and she told me to lie to her boss that i'd stay there a year to get the job. heb is a joke

Massive market. Unworldly massive to be quite honest. I was visiting friends and went to this market to pickup some barbecue supplies. They of course, had it all. Even a little stand out front that sold boiled and seasoned seafood. So after we picked up the necessary provisions, we got a pound of that shrimp. Amazing...

This location is the worst H‑E‑B ever! I built a house in a nearby neighborhood because I was close to a H‑E‑B. I even had my mother send me things from H‑E‑B when I was deployed but they have lost a faithful customer. I am followed while walking through the beauty section. The pharmacy is an absolute nightmare. They don't notify you when your prescription is ready or received. They change pick up dates without calling you and explaining why. Their policies are biased and subjective. Their policies aren't even posted to ensure this bias is maintained. If you are black, this location is not for you. If you are a veteran, do not use this pharmacy, they are worst than the VA.

Thank you for ruining what was supposed to be a special day! My wife & I had ordered a cake from the bakery for a gender reveal for our family. What we asked for was pretty simple: white buttercream icing on the outside, chocolate cake with blue icing on the inside(since we are having a boy), some design on the corners of the cake to jazz things up instead of just having a border piped around the edge, and the words “Surprise Inside” written on the cake. What we received was nothing short of a complete and utter failure. The cake looked like it was thrown together at the last minute. The cake was extremely basic, with no border around the edges. The words on the cake were misspelled and said “Surprice Inside”. When we cut into the cake, the icing inside, which was supposed to be blue, was white instead, ruining the reveal. The 2 layers of the cake were uneven, the bottom layer about half as thick as the top layer. The bottom layer was also much drier than the top layer. The cake as a whole was not iced evenly, as there were patches of cake visible through the icing. When we called the bakery manager after arriving home, we were dismissed for not looking at the cake before leaving the store. We were under a time constraint, which is why we did not have an opportunity to closely inspect the cake until we returned home. The bakery manager pulled the order and said “Oh, you placed this order over the phone.” then proceeded to tell us that we had asked for things that we did not ask for. If this is the way that HEB is treating their customers, we will take our business elsewhere. Sorry HEB, in this case, any other store would have done better.
