Houston Garden Center offers a nice layout with a slightly better than average selection of plants, including palm trees, fresh Christmas trees, ornamental grasses, beautiful flowers, roses, and huge containers. Prices are competitive. The staff is often nice and helpful, quickly assisting with loading and asking if customers need help, which makes for a peaceful shopping trip. Checkout is quick. However, some staff can be rude or unhelpful, and items are not priced. For non-Spanish speakers, communication can sometimes be a challenge. Highlights include good displays, helpful service with loading, and occasional sales with half-price plants.
