Well, supposedly they don't close at 11 they close at 10:50p.m. now. You're not allowed to go in there after 10:50p.m. and this gentleman with glasses started to yell at us, never had an issue there until now. Oh yeah also there's a person that works there that takes anything collectible toys. So they never get on the pegs. This is the young kid that started to yell at us.
Update July 20 still closing before 11 had the doors closed by 10:50pm same manager again do better krogers

The Kroger-Albertsons merger has brought prices way down. I love shopping here.

Self checkout was time-consuming and unnecessary, but I like Krogers stores.

I’m a security officer that works the graveyard shift at a building down the road from this Kroger, so every night before work I stop in there to pick up my dinner or snacks for my co-workers and I can not say it enough, this is EASILY the best Kroger I have ever been to. The staff is always amazing, really helpful and friendly, I haven’t met a single bad egg in the bunch. Whoever reads these that oversees this location, you struck gold with your staff! Love this location so much, going to keep coming back to it. Great work!
(Also, their baked goods are amazing, I’m a big big fan.)

The manager Terrell Scott should not be in management position. I had coupons at self check out the young gentleman working went to customer service for help with them. I realized there’s 4 people with lights blinking and Terrell walks up and doesn’t even try to help. Just walks always. Self check out guy comes back and says he sorry but they won’t accept but we can go to the booth if we wanted to talk to them. So we did then we approach Terrell about the coupons because they refused to take them. He didn’t even look at the coupons. “I’m not taking those coupons.” Then my husband said “ok well I don’t want them” Terrell replies with an attitude “well i’m not going to refund tobacco products” We didn’t even buy them yet. Disgusting behavior. Poor management is a result for poor workers. I’ll take my business to HEB and if you’re reading this review I would suggest this to you as well.

This Kroger (2150 Spring Stuebner Rd) is awful. The store is hard to navigate compared to other Krogers in the area, there was mold on the fresh veggies, and freezer doors. There was dirty workers gloves in one of the open meat freezers. Out of the 19 registers they have, only self checkout was open. We tried to ask for an employee for assistance because we had a full basket and he completely ignored us and walked away. This was the second negative experience we have had at this location. Left the store at 8:25pm on Friday May 23rd

Terrible experience. First the app won't adjust to the store I'm in so I can't use it to find anything. Then the store has 2 employee in the whole place. Oh and they only have self checkout. 🙄 And who puts energy drink in the aisle with canned soup??? 😡

I absolutely LOVE that every time I walk through the sliding doors at Kroger, they’re playing Taylor Swift on the radio! It’s always right when I walk in, and it’s just in that front area—but it instantly puts me in a good mood. It’s like my own personal concert entrance! Hearing her music right as I enter totally energizes me and makes my grocery trip even better. I genuinely appreciate that little touch—it makes a big difference in my day. Thank you, Kroger!

Update 4/19/2025: I promise I will NEVER EVER EVER shop at this Kroger again after this morning, not even their gas. They didn't have 1 single line open, even the self check-outs were all closed, and they only had 2 new 15 items or less self check-outs open. If it doesn't think you scanned something, the belt reverses and shoves it back at you, then the girl would come over and just scan and scan items until the message went away. At the end, it tried to double-charge me for a whole lot of things including some sparkling drinks that you have to buy 10 to get 49 cent discount per each - it didn't give me the discount even though I had 10 exactly and put in my phone number for their tracking, and it showed at least 15 of the drinks in my final amount. I walked out and left it at the check-out. I had over $100 of stuff but who knows if it was even close to accurate. Mind you the only lines open were for self-check 15 items or less. Please shut it down and let a decent grocery store exist here. ALL of the 5 star ratings on here are FAKE.
4/12/2025: And it just gets worse. Nobody to check out groceries on a Saturday morning. Just shut it down already. Negative 100000.
Last year: I will NOT be shopping here again in spite of it being about 1 mile from where I live UNLESS I need to use it like a convenience store. I bought Bob Evans mashed potatoes today and didn't check the expiry date, and they were still being sold in the store in spite of the fact they expired 5 DAYS ago. No quality assurance at this store whatsoever. Buyer beware, they just don't care. Stop ripping people off and remove the expired crap.

The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. What's wrong with the paper towel dispenser? Having them sit in nasty puddles of other people's water on the counter is completely unsanitary. After seeing the state of those bathrooms I'm wondering how any of your employees could simply wash their hands properly after using one of them. Very disappointed to see such neglect where we buy our food. Good thing HEB is popping up everywhere.

I want to start by saying I LOVED this Kroger and have spent at least $1000 a month for the last 3 years at this location. I am on first name basis with the produce guy Armando because he takes time to acknowledge customers and gets to know the regulars.
Yesterday 1-28-25 my 12yr old daughter and I stopped in after a long day of moving to pick up cat litter, snacks, and cold medicine.
I am 3 months pregnant and have been packing and moving out of our home for the past week. So no I wasn’t dressed to the t, I was wearing sweat pants,a band t and uggs. It was going to be a quick trip so I stuck my card in my phone and went shopping.
I am very aware of my surroundings, as my daughter and I get to the self check out I notice the manager (heavier bald black man) come stand behind us. We begin scanning and the manager gets called to the service desk. Before he heads to the desk he proceeds to YELL at the self checkout associate to watch this cart! And points at my daughter and I. I was beyond flabbergasted. I could not believe I was being profiled due to my appearance. As my daughter and i were shopping we gave no indication that we were going to steal.
I have worked in retail as a young adult and both my husband and I are established Houston business owners. Even if I was trying to steal this is not how you handle a loss prevention situation. This manager humiliated myself and my daughter for absolutely no reason, and lost a more than loyal customer.
In all my years I have NEVER walked out of a store so humiliated and embarrassed for doing NOTHING WRONG.

Every digital coupon I scan is expired and checkout lines are too long. Why are only 4 of the 10 self checkout machines open?
