I moved to TX 6 years ago and luckily found MBG Hair Studio after many terrible experiences.
Monika offers a relaxing 1 on 1 experience in her studio boutique. I like to call it “hairapy” because it is therapy for my hair and my mind.
She is a master of her art (color, balayage, blending, styling) and every time I walk out of her salon I look and feel like a goddess.

Monika is my forever hair stylist. She saved my hair! My hair was damaged and thin from previous highlights from other hair stylist. She uses top quality products and my hair is so much better now. Best highlights, best cut, best styling and great prices. She's also very personable and adore her. Almost all my friends and family members go to her now.

Okay guys, Monika is absolutely wonderful!
So I originally came in to go for a platinum blonde, but Monika was very honest and told me that with my current color (and split end condition?) it would d e s t r o y my hair. So she helped me out, super honest but still sweet at the same time! She recommended a Balayage, and I LOVE IT!! So natural looking, even the hair cut she did gave a really nice shape to my hair. And can I just say I’ve never liked bangs as much as I do now? I had cut them myself and she asked to texture them and
W o W they look so much better!
If you want somebody that will take the time to be honest with you, and not go crazy and ruin your hair, Monika is the way to go! Also, love her new studio and boutique, couldn’t resist the cute sweaters!!

Monika is a dream! I usually don't repeat service with same stylist because I'm never 100% satisfied with the results and experience.... I just moved to this area 6 months ago and I've already seen Monika 3 times! She really is the entire package. Personality wise, she's sweet, easy going and so fun to chat with. Professionally, she is AMAZING at what she does. I came to her with many different kinds of dark box dye in my hair and I of course wanted to go blonde. ? She listened to what I wanted and came up with a game plan to make it happen in the most healthy way for my hair.Aside from her being the best, her salon is so cute, cozy and inviting. I am posting this review under my husband’s account because I do not have my own. Monika is THE BEST!!! Not only do both of my girls and I go to her for cuts and color, she has also saved us from a major hair emergency. My daughter has waist length hair that became severely matted due to a braided hairstyle mixed with salt water and wind. I personally worked on detangling it for 10 or more hours. After being exhausted I wound up taking her to a different salon where two girls worked on it for another 5 hours. Needless to say neither was very successful and my daughter was losing hope that her hair would be able to be saved. Monika was able to change some appointments around to squeeze her in at the end of the day. She worked tirelessly over 6 hours to get the knot out. Although a ton of hair was lost due to the size and tightness of the knot, Monika managed to save a lot of her hair! We went back in a couple of days for a good cut and style and it’s barely noticeable! Monika was so gentle, patient, and as sweet as ever. She saved us from days of mental and physical anguish that most people could never imagine. She is AMAZING! My girls and I will never be letting anyone else touch our hair ever again!Services: Hairstyling
