About Methodist Retirement Communities

Operational since 1962, Methodist Retirement Communities is a nonprofit services ministry that serves senior citizens in east Texas. It offers low-income housing, residential and assisted living, nursing and dementia care and home health services. The ministry operates through more than five campuses in Galveston, Huntsville, Bryan, La Porte, Lufkin and Texarkana, Texas. Methodist Retirement Communities additionally offers Alzheimer's care services. It provides apartment-style living and patio homes and a choice of dining options.

    Whenever I have had the opportunity to visit on their campuses I have always had a good experience. In fact, my wife and I plan on moving to one of their campuses within the next few years.
