Thank you to the staff of this animal hospital. I have been with them forever. I had to put 2 dogs down there in the past. They were amazing, sensitive and kind. I just recently lost one of my 3 poms. Once again, the evaluation, treatment and care were spot on. I wanted to name everyone that helped us but truly that would be everyone on duty that day. I have had 6 dogs under there care and I sincerely appreciate there talent and efficiency.

Probably going to give the same review on their sister property after this. I had a Husky named Boon that I got from my girlfriends friend who had some serious issues. Under fed, skin issues, diarrhea and kidney issues. I took him to get his initial visit at Four Seasons VCA (who I'll be reviewing next) and for the visit, they gave me a bunch of meds to help monitor his symptoms. For all the meds and the visit it was about $500. Took Boon to the VCA I'm writing a review for now because he started throwing up unexpectedly last night. Got worse throughout the night. Saw a lot of puke when I woke up. When I took Boon in they basically repeated what the first VCA did and said they were unsure of what exactly was causing the vomiting. TRIED TO CHARGE ME ANOTHER $500 for something to help control his vomiting and get him on a food plan. Which luckily I turned down and good thing I did. To wrap up this review my girlfriend took him to her vet that she's known forever. Interned with him and has been known to be very reliable. He said ultimately Boon's liver and kidneys were failing. He is currently being euthanized. Which puts me in the perfect mix of angry and sad. Sad my boy is gone even though I only had him for a couple weeks. Angry VCA (especially after sharing information with each other) tried to charge me a grand ish total on top of a follow up from the first visit when they should've known what was going on. It's sad because I actually liked them. They were amazing when I had to put my cat down. Seemed knowledgeable and helpful when another pet went there. This just made them loose a customer though. Boon was an amazing dog for the couple weeks I had him and if his original owner wasn't so terrible he might've had a chance. Sucks when the good go out like that. VCA should care more about the customers emotions and financial stability rather than squeeze money out of clients. Also the nurse or whoever was helping the vet today seemed annoyed. When she came out with my total, everything the doctor thought would be best for Boon and I told her I'm good I want a second opinion. Like that was such an inconvenient thing for me to say. Or I was a terrible owner for not doing what the doctor recommended. R.I.P Boon you will be missed.

I've been taking my dog there for over a year now and I must say the customer service at the VCA Woodlands location is horrific. If if you make an appointment for when they open at 8:00 am they can't manage to be prompt. Most businesses can manage to open at their posted time but not VCA, they take their sweet time opening up, especially on days when the manager isn't there to keep an eye on things. I don't blame the employees they will get away with what they can, I blame management who seems to be missing most of time. on several occasions I've asked to speak with the manager and the response is always the same. " She is not in right now, we can have her call you", then doesn't call you, ever. Same yourself the aggravation and look elsewhere for veterinary services. This place is over priced especially for the low quality service they provide. Maybe the manager will get a clue and get the staff some customer service training and teach them to be prompt and open on time.

Don't tell a patient that their office fee is waived and then decide to charge them anyway.

Granted, this is during the COVID 19 pandemic but, VCA Woodlands is awful. I had an appointment scheduled and arrived on time. After I arrived, I had to call the office (again) and was told I had to wait for a room to be readied and for a tech to call me back. There were no other cars in the parking lot before during, and after my 10-minute wait for a callback and, I had an appointment time scheduled. After doing the check-in with the Vet Tech, Veterinarian Nicolosi appeared to begin the exam. He has a very poor tableside manner and blocked my view as he performed said exam, so I could not see what he was doing with my pet. I came in to get my dog setup with heartworm preventative and upon seeing the authorization form, I was ready to leave; $69 for the initial exam and $134 for them to draw some blood and look at it under a microscope before writing a script for the medicine. I understand needing to check for a previous infection but, their pricing is absurdly high and I will not return. The next vet service I called after this visit was only $92 for the visit and heartworm exam. This place charges "Woodlands" rates and they aren't even in The Woodlands, they are in Spring. Take your money and your pet(s) elsewhere.

You should not take your pet here if they are dying. We told them my Mom doesn’t have any money. They told her they would waive the exam fee. They didn’t say IF We proceed today with the euthanasia. When we told them we wanted one more day with our dog, they changed their tune to now charge for the office fee. Now, if we go back tomorrow it will be ANOTHER office fee plus the fee for euthanasia. No thank you. They only care about the business side of this. Not about people being able to properly say goodbye to their family pet of 16 years. Disgusting.

I personally loved the vets here, but it's a far drive and one of the front desk associates, Dominique, was incredibly rude. My puppy was potentially having a reaction to his vaccines from the day before, so she told me to come in for an appointment at 11:30. I did not get seen at 11:30 when I got there. I waited about 25 minutes before she told me it would be an hour. She did not explain anything well on the phone, and was aggressive in her tone. I would not trust my pet to be cared for here. Definitely never coming back.

I just visited this location to get my dogs’ nails trimmed. While everyone was very nice they charged $27 per dog for a simple nail trim. No other services and they didn’t see a vet. They didn’t buff the nails or even file, just a basic trim.

It is a little more expensive than others but you cannot ask for more caring people when it comes to your furbabies. They go above and beyond for the well being of the animals they treat. My dogs love going to the vet so it's not a traumatic experience for them.

The best Staff that greets us and Tinkerbell when we walk in. Dr Wilkins is the Best and most experienced vet in the area. He treated our Family Cat Mindy about 24 years ago. Now for the past 1 1/2 years since Tinkerbell got sick he has done so much for us and Tinkerbell. She is now healthy and in Remission. I highly recommend going to VCA as they also offer a insurance for your pet that covers office visits, yearly labs and a plus plan that covers a yearly dental cleaning... VCA Woodlands treats their patients as if they were their own pet. Wouldn't trust taking Tinkerbell or any future pets anywhere but VCA Woodlands Animal Hospital.
