Wanted to get the word out about North Freeway Hyundai in Houston,TX. We were shopping for a new car on 12/23/2025 and found one I liked. After checking it out, we noticed the headrest on the passenger side 3rd row DID NOT flip down when putting the 3rd row down. We mentioned it to the sales guy and he said he would talk to his manager (J.R Hill) I said I wanted the headrest fixed because whatâs the point of having an SUV if you canât utilize the cargo space? We were at the point of signing and North Freeway Hyundai said they WOULDNâT fix the headrest in the 3rd row because the car was âused.â PEOPLE, LISTEN UP â It was a 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy with ONLY 3,500 miles on it 𤯠UMMM, HELLO. Did you hear us correctly? We CANâT put the 3rd row down because the headrest would NOT fold down and hit the second row chair 3/4 of the way down. âźď¸The cargo space was completely unusable and the 3rd row had to always be kept up âźď¸ JR went outside to âlookâ at it and didnât have any explanation for it but clearly saw & understood the 3rd row was INOPERABLE. There were no service guys around BUT he neither offered to fix it or offer any solutions. He refused to fix the headrest or even attempt to do anything meaningful to save the sale. My husband said we wouldnât buy the car with it broken and JR outright asked him,âYou would stop the sale because of the headrest?â of COURSE we would! JR then proceeded to say, âWell, people buy used cars because they are cheaper. Itâs a used car; you canât expect everything to work.â đ đ¤ŹAre you freaking kidding me? I called the next day (Christmas Eve) and left a message for the VP to report the incident because I thought management should know just how sub-par the service wasâŚ. Havenât received a call back (surprise, surprise)â Definitely would NOT recommend this dealership AT ALL. North Freeway Hyundai obviously doesnât car about creating goodwill or customer service. Above all, North Freeway HYUNDAI lost a sale and I will spread the word about this crappy dealership forever. Share this experience and spread the word. #NorthFreewayHyundaiSUCKS

They need to work together as a team. The salesperson is also, the porter and all other jobs except finance. (Maybe the porter is too busy getting cars ready.) With that said, the place is a totally different experience. The sales floor is like a museum. The cars are displayed like pieces of art, except they encourage touching. I believe they have every model made by the manufacturer so if you want it, they've got it. Make sure you know what you want with your purchase. The sales and finance department are not pushy or overbearing. We had to ask for add-on products like extended warranties and GAP. We got the price we wanted for our trade-in, the price for the car we wanted and the payment we expected. Then, they don't blow up your phone after the sale requesting other possible leads disguised as customer service calls. Our sales rep. was Kim Jefferson and our finance guy was Howard Bass. They're awesome duo.

Our Christmas this year was blessed because of Ms Kimberly Jefferson!!! This is the second time we purchased our car from NFW Hyundai and we couldn't be more thankful and lucky for landing on Ms. Kim as our sales person that day! She did not mind walking in her stylish heels around the vast selection of cars in their lot just to find us the best car to fit our long list of requests. She also got us within our price range despite the tight budget!!! Thank you very much for dedicating your time and patience with us!!! You are a Godsend and may you continue to be a blessing to many more future costumers!!!
To the members of Hyundai corporate, I hoped to have given Miss Kim the credit she deserves when I filled out Hyundai's survey, but nevertheless made a mistake in putting imperfect scores when came to answering questions regarding the financing part. I was under the impression that the survey pertained to the dealership as a whole and not just solely evaluating our sales contact person. Out of all the people that we got to talk to in our time of purchasing a vehicle, only Miss Kim made sure that we got what we wished for. I do hope that she gets nothing but a great review as one of your best employees in Northfreeway Hyundai.

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience at this Hyundai dealership.
Before visiting, I communicated clearly by email and text with a salesperson named Joseph R. I provided exact details of the deal I was looking for:
2026 Hyundai Tucson Limited (Hampton Gray)
36 months / 12,000 miles
$3,000 down
$380â$390 monthly
All taxes, registration, and fees included
No additional or hidden costs
These terms were confirmed in writing, and I was asked to come to the dealership. I have screenshots as evidence.
When I arrived, I was told the deal was suddenly $90 MORE per month than what had been confirmed multiple times in writing.
When a supervisor came out, instead of honoring the written confirmation, the situation became even more unprofessional. The supervisor introduced himself as âJR.â Given the circumstances, it felt like an attempt to distance responsibility from the written agreement. This is my personal impression based on how the situation was handled.
Overall, this felt like a bait-and-switch tactic â confirming one deal to get me into the store, then changing the numbers in person. It wasted my time and showed a lack of integrity and accountability.
I strongly recommend that anyone visiting this dealership get everything in writing and be very cautious, as this experience negatively impacts the dealershipâs credibility and Hyundaiâs reputation.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. I went in to buy 2 cars. The sales agent's attitude was appalling & lazy. @ the dealership, please remember that when dealing with clients who are professionals, especially Doctors. We are a close-knit community that shares its experiences and stories. Anyway, your loss is in selling two cars and not building a repeat customer relationship. P.S. This was my 2nd bad experience at this dealership in the last 5 years. Will not be returning ever again!

Gloria is extremely unhelpful, rude, and unprofessional. I have been waiting to get my car back for 3 days and I received a text that my car was ready an hour before the service department closed and I didnât see it in time to get a Lyft sent to me. There should be a way for the sales or front desk clerk to help people in these situations. Gloria basically said ânot my problem youâre lucky youâre even getting your car back today so youâll just have to uber yourselfâ - VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Incredibly rude and unprofessional, held onto a vehicle unnecessarily for multiple days and when asked when to pick up the vehicle Gloria was rude and unhelpful. Terrible customer service and canât imagine how they treat people that actually shop there

Omg this is soo sweet, i bought both my cars from here my tucson & then my current Palisade,
all the staff always been soo halpful sweet & welcoming, i moved to Chicago & had needed some documents for transfer & registration, even though i was out of state of texas,
Ms. Gloria & Jennifer Broussard have been soo soo sweet, helpful & awesome as always,
I was at the Dmv in Chicago & ms. Gloria & ms. Jennifer helped me quickly over the phone & emailed me docs needed so i could takecare of my stuff here,
Thanks & again a big shout out to these amazing ladies for being soo helpful & providing top notch customer service, âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸
