I’ve been buying from the Sherwin-Williams store in The Woodlands since 2010 without any problems, until recently. Over the past four months, I’ve had two separate cases where the wrong paint base was used, which led to noticeable color issues. We had to repaint both projects, costing my company time and money.
To make matters worse, I don’t currently have a sales rep, and my previous rep was unprofessional. She tried to shift the blame onto us, saying we should’ve checked before painting, even though anyone in the industry knows paint can look different once it dries or under different lighting. That response was really disappointing.
I also had a similar experience at the Shenandoah store, where the assistant manager was just as rude.

If you need help on the matching colors to your house, forget about SW.
We have a house suing SW paint (with a SW paint number). We just need a little paint for some tough-up. First time, we bought the SW paint (in their store) with the exact SW number, but the color didn't match. Second time, the sale person told us if we can bring some sample pieces (out of the existing walls) then he can make the matching paint. So we did it (took some samples, brought them to the store, and got new paint). We also asked what if the new color doesn't work, the sale person told us that we cam bring it back for placement if it doesn't work. Sounds good, right? But the new paint color was wrong again. So we took the wrong paint back to the store with a hope for the replacement as the sales person promised. However, the store manager won't honor the sales person's promise. He even won't offer any discount for any new paint. As the results, we paid everything for their mistakes.
Lesson learned (1) you can't count on SW to help you getting the paint color right (you would think they are the experts on paints, right?) (2) You can't expect the SW to help on any costs on the paint even the costs due to their mistakes. (3) if you need paint, try somewhere else like the Home Depot or Lowe's.

I can't tell u how much I apologize bc I've NEVER gotten ANYTHING but AMAZING service in the woodland location. Clean establishment everything is front facing and flush lables placed forward. I've had everyone at this location from GM on the way down that has provided nothing but perfect service. I don't see how they could do any better logically. Everyone is knowledgeable and eager to help. Best store location out of all the others. I apologize again bc u guys rock. Definitely coming back all I will use is Sherwin williams

While they seem to be very nice, they do increase the price and they claim that they are giving you discounts. Whatever you start paying for $200 per 5 gallons they will start charging you $400 afterwards be careful.

These guys here are awesome and very friendly. Alex and Chance are the best! They helped me with everything I needed, and always with a smile. Fixed some issues I went in for in a very timely manner. They are very knowledgeable and I'm grateful for that. The ladies are awesome too. It's never too busy, clean store, and you're in and out in no time at all. Thank you guys for great service. You guys are a fantastic team!!!
