Skate Champions is a nice facility and a clean, bright, fun family entertainment skating rink. It has a big skate floor and is a well-maintained venue with reasonable prices compared to others in the area. The entrance fee is not so vociferous, with an unbeatable price like $5 to skate on Tuesday evenings. They rent skates, including for children, and offer a walker device to help beginners. The rink is an excellent place to take children to relax and exercise. It offers beginner skate lessons, with a recommended package of $50 for four lessons. Instructors are patient and good at explaining simple mechanics, helping adults learn to skate forward, stop with control, scissor, and skate backwards. The music and DJ are decent, and there are games on the floor for more seasoned skaters. While some find it expensive for a family visit, with food prices that aren't crazy, the staff at the rink itself is friendly and helpful. Customer service for scheduling can be inconsistent, but the local skate rink provides a great time for families and individuals to enjoy skating.

One of the largest indoor rink of Houston area. The wood surface is well maintained and easy to skate. The staff was nice. Only the downside for me was weak AC that made me sweat a lot.
