This is a new interest of mine and I had no idea what I was walking in to. After a few mins of browsing Ms. Sabrina approached me and gave me a welcoming smile. She showed me around the whole complex and even gave me a quick lesson with pointers! I was like a small child all over again. It felt amazing to step into a new world and feel welcomed. I cant wait to start my first private lesson!

As a complete beginner to bowhunting and someone planning my first DIY archery elk hunt, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than what I had at Texas Archery. From the moment I walked in, Joey, Tracey, and Sarah made me feel completely at ease. They’re not only incredibly knowledgeable — they’re passionate bowhunters who genuinely want to help you succeed.
I had zero experience going in, but they took the time to educate and walk me through everything: bow selection, proper shooting form, tuning, and component and arrow selection. Despite shooting and trying out six different bows over a couple of hours, I never felt rushed or overwhelmed. Their advice was honest and hunting-focused, which I really appreciated as someone prepping for a backcountry elk trip. I ultimately purchased a Matthews Lift X and couldn’t be happier with my decision.
The range setup is outstanding. The 20-yard indoor range helped me build a solid foundation, the 50-yard range has been perfect for pushing my distance and confidence, and the 3D range is a game changer — practicing on life-sized animal targets gives you the kind of real-world prep you just can’t get in a backyard.
Since my purchase, I’ve been back a few times for range visits. I’m always greeted by name and already feel like I’m part of the Texas Archery family. Whether you're an experienced bowhunter or someone looking to get into bowhunting, Texas Archery is the place to go. They’ve made what could have been a daunting experience into something exciting and totally achievable.

Just picked up a 29.5” Mathews Lift X from Texas Archery in Spring, and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. Tracey, Sarah, and Joey were a huge help getting me set up and making sure everything was customized exactly how I wanted it. Their service is just as great as it was 10 years ago when I bought my first bow here. Texas Archery continues to impress with the largest selection of hunting bows I’ve seen in a shop, plus every accessory you could possibly need. Highly recommend for anyone serious about archery or just getting started.

Nice shop, range and an A+ experience. Went in with a new bow that had slipped the string off the cam messing up the peep and timing. Told Joey what happened and he got my bow tuned and all lined up. His help and patience was greatly appreciated. Will return for future business.
