Took my cat to get neutered and they were very sweet. They took good care of him, barely left a scar. Quick and easy, not too expensive either. same with vaccinating my dog, very understanding and patient with him, quick in and out. Set an appointment and you'll be set!

Response to Owner: I was clearly one of the first 10 people through that door that morning. That is a huge problem, also you just repeated the problem I booked for 15-30 lb dog you guys helped me AND said you would weigh when we got in it wouldnt be a problem. Your whole response is trash. You should know what you can handle or handle this on check in. VERY poor communication and you guys take ZERO ownership of any of it. It was all handled VERY poorly. No need for a response my family will never be back. Not to mention you left my dog in a small kennel from 7:30-1PM you called me at 12:30 to find out you couldnt do the procedure. Yall nuts if you think you got it together there.
Made an appointment MUCH in advance. They did not put my dog in the correct group or whatever the lady said. Called my back after 5-6 hours to tell me they have to reschedule. Complete garbage and waste of time. What was the purpose of check in? I also was maybe the 10th person inside so how is there no time? So many aweful excuses given on why they took my money without renderinf services. Unexcusable. Manager did not give me requested info and argues with me. I simply asked for owner info. Nasty unprofessional uncaring manager.dont take your precious babies here

My experience at Texas Litter Control left much to be desired. Despite specifically requesting otherwise, they completely shaved my female cat and even misgendered her on the paperwork, stating she was male. This lack of attention to detail was disappointing and concerning. Additionally, the overall experience fell short of expectations, leaving me feeling dissatisfied with the service provided. As a pet owner, trust and accuracy are crucial when entrusting my beloved pet to a professional establishment, and unfortunately, Texas Litter Control did not meet these standards.

The cost is great, but the execution needs a lot of work. The website and the signage they put out says cats go in at 7 AM and dogs go in at 7:30 AM. The website actually says there are two separate doors. The truth is there is one door, one line, & it doesn’t matter if you have a cat or a dog as long as you’re in line. They take you in in the order in which you line up. We waited in line for about an hour because we were following directions on the website and the signs. The sign says if you have an appointment you will be seen first. In reality, every animal has the same appointment at the same time on the same day, which they don’t tell you until you’ve waited in line for an hour.

I took my male cat to be neutered dropped him off at 7:00 in the morning. I could not pick him up until 5:00 I assume he was in his pet carrier all day after the procedure. He was drenched in pee. I had to give him a bath immediately when I get home to make sure that he did not get an infection.

We have been trying to get our community cats fixed since April and weren’t having success until we heard about TLC. Thanks to them for having the TNR Program which helped lower the cost for spay/neutering. We have already got 8 fixed since the beginning of August and hope to get the last 4 done next week. Thank you to the staff who really have their system down and makes for a very efficient drop off and pick up.

There’s seriously a problem with your scheduler if you guys think that a line of 50+ people and their animals at 7am saying they’re ALL scheduled for 7am.

I made an appointment for a future date to ensure I have enough time to prepare for my dogs spay, and also help meditate the number intake for this facility. I emailed to see if I qualified for the voucher assistance and was informed I didn’t (perfectly fine) I then informed the person who was communicating with me, Debby Ryan that I booked out 2 months and asked if I would for sure get my dog spayed on the day I scheduled the appointment for, in which she replied “ We operate month to month so no promises on anything.” I thought this was a very bleak and unprofessional response that didn’t provide reassurance that my dog would be getting spayed. I replied and said the information was unhelpful, to which she replied “Please use another service that can give you better information.”.
I will be taking that advice and taking my money and services somewhere else. If your staff can’t be articulate, informative and professional why would I trust them to operate on my dog? I understand this is a non profit but I was still going to be paying well over $200 to spay my dog here, I should be met with the same professionalism as I would be elsewhere.
