All the charm of a traditional candy shop, it’s an experience for children . The taffy is wonderful, the fudge is delicious, they have candy I can’t find anywhere else. It’s wonderful . We’ve been going for a long time and it hasn’t lost its charm.Kid-friendliness: They are so kind and accommodating to children

Went in with my service animal and asked if they allowed service animals which I know they have to but I was just being nice. She breathed out heavily while rolling her eyes and said I guess I just left because I’m not going to spend my money there if she was going to be like that. Sad been going to this place all my life grew up right down the road it just hasn’t been the same.

My son and I have been frequent visitors of The Candy House to see Mr. Baker for the majority of my son’s 9 years. We visited today for the first time since his passing and found the new owners absolutely wonderful. We are so happy that they kept the old fashioned vibe that the Baker’s blessed our community with for so many generations. I kept expecting Mr. Baker to walk in while wearing one of his trademark exciting paisley print shirts. We’re looking forward to continuing our regular visits. New owners, thank you so much for respecting the tradition of this Woodlands legacy! You’re doing an amazing job! Wishing you much success for many years to come!

The best little candy store!!! I love the decorations and one of a kind items you find here! Recently they did a custom basket for me - it was incredible! And the cheese popcorn…oh my gosh…it is unreal!! I love that another family bought the store to continue the Candy House legacy!

The best candy store in The Woodlands. Others can not compare. An old-fashioned atmosphere with a fantastic candy counter, personalized service, caring owners, and wonderful homemade fudge and pralines. Although this shop has been a staple in The Woodlands for years, the new owners are carrying on the tradition of providing quality service and treats.

Went to The Candy House for my daughters 3rd birthday since she loves candy. Arrived at 2:15 to a sign on the door that said ‘back at 3’. We came back at 3:45 the shop was open but as we walked inside the girl greeted us with “how long are y’all going to be” followed by a pause and then followed up with “I have a family emergency”. We were able to shop for a very quick 3 minutes. She checked us out and answered a phone call while checking us out and said “I’m just trying to get out of The Candy House” I understand emergencies happen but this was disappointing because I’ve heard from others that the hours of the store are wishy washy. Good luck surviving as a small business when you don’t have reliable hours. Sorry but I won’t be back to The Candy House.

Some of my most memorable childhood pastimes were at this store. Friends and I still laugh at trying to devour the jumbo jaw breakers in one day (impossible... maybe?). I still hold all fudge I eat to their standard and haven't found any better. I bought my mom the chocolate roses for valentine's 2010, and after her breast cancer diagnosis I purchased the pink ribbon TY beanie baby here. I even ate my first bug (& only) after a dare to eat the lollipopped insects. Mr. Baker is/was such a nice man he didn't even call the cops when he thought I stole a novelty item, but only confronted my 12 yr old self (now 31yrs) on my next visit to discover I hid it in store while saving up lol. You're a true hometown Candy House veteran (like myself) if you've ever got the "golden ribboned" gumball! I'm more than happy to purchase $100+ of candy to support them during this pandemic.

We heard of this shop recently through an appeal to support local business. We went in an effort to show support. It is a very nice mom and pop candy store. Many items were sold out due to the recent show of support and the shop was very busy! We did not mind the wait. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We opted for the homemade fudge and popcorn and were not disappointed in the quality. We do plan to return.
