Christine had a great vision and created an amazing space to teach you how to knit/crochet… or just improve your skills. This is the place to go.. And she has lots of great yarn…
And Carol is just so much fun to talk with …. Sorry Christine for the constant chatter while I was there.

I absolutely love this yarn store!! It is very homey and welcoming! The owner will help you with any questions you may have and is always interested in the projects you are doing!! She also has classes for a variety of projects! She is a wonderful teacher and person! Highly recommend this business!

The absolute best teacher. Classes small and fun. Shop is bright and welcoming. Love meeting for BOTM and many other events and classes. Especially the availability of punch card help, pushes you through a problem; new stitch or pattern problem. Christine tailors her approach to individual's need. You will never regret time spent there.

First time in the shop. Christine was very helpful and her shop has a wide selection of yarn including both wool and non-wool options. Since both my daughter and I are allergic, and considering the climate in which we live, this made me very happy.

MY HAPPY PLACE! Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or experienced knitter/crocheter this is the shop for you. The owner, Christine, is very experienced, knowledgeable, extremely helpful and best of all pushes you to get out of your comfort zone in projects and yarns. If you’re looking for a shop to spend your weekends knitting/crocheting or just chat with a great group of ladies, then this is the place for you.

I absolutely love Christine's shop! Not only are there a ton of options for yarn, tools and knitting, or crochetting. There is also a welcoming and comfy spot in her shop for connection, community, and learning. I took two beginner knitting classes with Christine, and they were fun, easy to follow, and I really enjoyed them. Christine has a great way of explaining the process to a "newbie" and making it fun! Please do yourself a favor and take a trip over to the Social Knitwork. Take a class, connect with the community, and stay awhile... you won't be disappointed that you did! Thank you, Christine! The best little yarn shop in Texas! Great classes and a fantastic place to share the craft with amazing people and you’re gonna make some friends. Chris Rogers is the owner, an excellent instructor and offers a wide verity of classes, and one on one lessons. Get your yarn on and come to The Social Knitwork!

The best yarn shop to get started on learning to craft! Ms Chris is the best teacher, I was able to pick up crochet in no time thanks to her. She has created a wonderful community in old town spring for crafters, and you can’t help but want to curl up in a chair, knit, crochet or chat away anytime you go. I recommend her shop to all crafters I know!!
