Paid $89 “diagnostic” for no diagnosis
Brought my 2008 Mazda3 in for CEL P0455 and a fuel smell after filling up. They said they smoke-tested it but provided no results—no leak location, photos, numbers, or written summary. I was charged an $89 diagnostic fee, and all I got was a photo of staining under the tank and a push to remove the fuel tank ($549 labor) “to continue.” They also floated parts quotes ($180 tank or $1,062 fuel pump) with totals of $749 or $1,612, but couldn’t show what actually failed or check the pump-module gasket via the rear-seat access first. When I picked up the car there was no documentation of what was done. I can’t recommend this place at all. Get proof of whatever they say before you approve.

Don't take your car there for any repair. He doesn't honor his 1 year warranty and parts.
I have old Sienna that, making fan noise for last 2/3 years each time engine start for 20 seconds. So not much bother in driving. I finally have this check out. Was told that, blower need to replace. I paid $85 diagnose fees and I spend over $2,000 with tire sensor repair. Months later, fan making same noise from blower that replace, same 20 second loud noise.
I took it for warranty repair, I was told that, different fan is making noise and not that one that cover by warranty. I knew that was complete BS. He doesn't want to repair and honor his warranty because he make no money, honoring warranty. He asked another $800+ $85 diagnose fees again to repair. No way for me to argued over the phone with this guy. Don't forgot he has your Car in his shop. He can seriously damage to your car. If you argued hard or strong on him(just like you don't want to screw with waiter in Restaurants)
I did effectually argued that, when blower was replace, if other fan is bad, I should have advise to replace while replacing blower. But I knew, my argument is going anywhere. So I paid another $85 diagnose fees that, I shouldn't pay and pickup my card.
Why bother repairing with this auto shop, when he doesn't honor his warranty and his repair only lasted 2 months and you have to pay another $85 to address his warranty.
This auto shop in our neighborhood is crap. This shop has no value and just ripping off his customer. Take it to another auto shop. I will never go back again.

Took my 2012 Toyota Corolla in last August because car did cool at idle. Said that it needed Freon so he recharged it. Did not believe it, but wanted to believe. $189. Problem not fixed. Took the car back and he told me to keep an eye on the Compressor fan. Always worked. Winter came on so I let it go and this March got two free diagnostics. One guy just grabbed the suction line and said Compressor AC control valve. But he said better off change the compressor. # 2 guy put gauges on and told me to start ac, turn off and on again. Same thing the other guy said. Bad compressor seals. Waste of my time and money going to Tom's for AC repair. Not to mention the Uber trips. Just wished the guy had the ability to listen. Live and Learn.

Amos is 💯. He did an diagnostic when I first drove up. Gave me a rough estimate, and then did a rocker job and and tuneup at a decent price. The parts were expensive no doubt. I understand business need mark ups, but how cheap the total cost was, was surprisingly cheap, and how fast they were finished. Hands down I'm impressed and my vehicle runs as if it was brand new.

Tom's Auto Repair has been taking care of my mom and me for 4 yrs. I am so happy to have Tom's Auto because I don't feel taken advantage of...and yes I am a black woman who gives all businesses the side eye. I am so impressed and excited I can count on Amos. It's been so difficult for me to trust. I trust Tom's Auto Repair!

We delivered a part here and was hired through Doordash. This property is likely a family business. You can see the dedication in the owners eyes. Especially the dedication they are instilling in their children. The wife (I assume) not only beautiful to the eyes, but encouraging. I do thank them for allowing me the pleasure of delivering to their establishment, but also for being a staple in the community. Anita-Mario+
