Motel 6 in Stephenville, TX, offers a mixed experience for guests. Many find the motel clean with functional amenities like microwaves, mini fridges, and TVs. The rooms provide a comfy bed, though some guests mention the mattresses can feel flat and hard. While the location is great and the front desk staff are friendly, the building shows signs of age and needs updating. Guests have expressed concerns about the second-floor walkway's safety and the lack of working power outlets in some areas. The pool is not available, and some visitors feel the pricing is a bit high for the quality offered. Despite these issues, many guests report good, restful stays and would consider returning.
It is a very, very basic room. Clean. Just beds and TV. No amenities: hand soap, refrigerator, microwave, hai dryer, iron and board,, etc. Price was raised because it was a busy weekend. It was about the same as other motels in area that did offer amenities. ice maker wasn't working.

We stayed 1 night on March 25 and was charged $104. At the time we thought is was too high but were too tired to argue . Thinking back I think we should have complained. It was much more than we've ever paid there. Looking back we were charged $60+ a year ago in 2025. ????

Room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy and staff were friendly. No issues at all during my one-night stay — everything was good!
