Awful experience. Got a room with a jacuzzi non-smoking and the air-conditioning did not work. Got moved to another room. The tub in second room was dirty and it was a smoking room. Smelled like a big cigarette. I went totbhe front and tild the ladies the ladies Jacuzzi was dirty. Their response was oh cleaning ladies are not here on weekends. Ummm okay can yall clean it . The was looking like I was crazy. Hey just give me the cleaning stuff I'll clean it no problem for me. Then they decided to call the cleaning ladies to clean it. Once they cleaned it the jets didn't work. Air-conditioning had cigarettes and joints on it. Crazy to me. Come out the room neighbors are smoking cigarettes all in front of the door. The ladies at the front had the nerve to tell me I was rude how by saying I'll clean my own room since yall won't. Yall rude

Place is disgusting! I wouldn’t make my worst enemy stay here. Wouldn’t even give our money back . We went and stayed at another hotel. Rude staff smoking pot when we walked in . Dirty bedding, dirty bathrooms, place needs shut down .

Rooms were filthy. Blood on walls. When spoke to the person behind the counter he blamed it on the cleaning staff. Refused to recompinsate us. We ended up just leaving to find other rooms at 3 am due to the unclean conditions and unwillingness of the staff to correct the problem.

It was shocking to me how filthy this hotel is. The room was clean but the public spaces have old carpet that is littered with dirt, cigarette butts, trash. It's cheap but I didn't expect it to be like this. I don't know how the health inspector allows them to stay open. There's no vending machines and even though there's an ice bucket in the room, the ice machine is broken.

The room.
Was clean, but yet there was hair in the bathtub.It grossed me out.I had to go and get stuff to clean it before I could take a shower.

This is absolutely Ridiculous! For starters the first night was okay and we all had a good nights sleep. But the next morning we woke up sweating so badly including our 3 year old, the Ac unit was leaking EVERYWHERE and off the wall to where I can see outside! It was wet near my daughters bed and even my Dogs cage! I went downstairs with my dog and 3 year old to let the front desk lady know what was going on all they told me was “what do you expect us to do” are you serious! This is absolutely poor management and completely unacceptable! They didn’t even send someone up to check it out! I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel and will NOT be coming back!

I booked a kind bed with a sofa and got down graded to a two bed and when u try to sleep at night all u hear is banging around due to there remodel then the mini fridge in the room didn't work and there vending machines were out of order and I will admit my kids did stain a sheet witch I fully intended to pay for till the people decided to call me back to back to back after I told them I was in the DR office with my kid fully do not recommend even if they are cheap

One of the worst places I've ever been to! The rooms smelled like cigarettes, and there was a layer of dirt on almost everything. One of the rooms that we reserved had a broken lock, and what we got instead was a room on the second floor which was not as convenient.
The bedding, the towels, the iron board, and the microwave were all very dirty. The fridge was leaking, so does the iron.
The two positive things: location: close to almost everything, and flexibility in giving a group of 32 people rooms.

It doesnt look like much from the outside so i Wasn't sure how the stay was going to be. In the past the rooms were horrible and bug infested. Now I'm very happy to say that the rooms are super clean, no bugs anywhere, and most of them are very recently redone. This hotel has come a long way from what it was. I've been here almost a month and not a single time have I heard fighting, yelling or seen any suspicious activity. It's been quiet peaceful. The owners and staff are always super polite. They have some pretty decent rates for nightly, weekly and monthly stays, it won't break the bank. There are some restaurants, stores, and a movie theater super close, within walking distance. I've really enjoyed my stay here.

The room was much in need of repairs, especially in the bathroom. The couch in the room was dirty and worn.
Access to the room from the parking lot was not able to be used; the key card swiper was covered by duct tape! The only way to enter was through the main lobby. The lady at the desk was not helpful and hard to find.
The bed was clean and comfortable.
It was an okay stay for just one night.

Pictures looked decent so I booked my parents a room for a night for a wedding. My mom said it was disgusting to the point where she had to go to Walmart to buy new bed sheets and bath towels. I asked her if there was breakfast and she said “no but even if there was, I wouldn’t eat that food.”

I stayed here for the first time last weekend with my family and I will never come back here again. I didn't expect much when I booked our stay but I do expect a clean room. Our room was disgusting! There are several deferred maintenance items that need to be addressed including a minor life safety issue.
1) Room 226 is missing the safety latch to properly secure the room. The door peep hole is missing the glass.
2) Room 226 bathroom was near toilet had buildup of could only be urine.
3) Walls of the room had what looked like dried bodily fluids
4) East side of the building has a broken window on the 2nd floor.
5) window did not close
There is no way the cleaning person did not see this if we were able to see these things on the walls. This place was unsanitary and property management needs to do better! That lack of cleanliness in this room was unacceptable. Staff at the front desk was nice.
I will never stay at this place again. Shame on you!

We had a room booked for Family Weekend at Tarleton and when we got to our room on Saturday night, we immediately turned around and drove home. The stench, cockroaches, and stains were too much for us to feel comfortable. There was another family with us that also immediately left to go home after viewing their room. Stephenville needs more hotels because places like this make it impossible to enjoy your weekend.
