Can’t say enough good things about these people and the people of Stratford. On my way to Colorado, my car crapped out and I limped to Carquest. They immediately got my vehicle in and just a short time later, they ran all the tests and found out it was just a dirty sensor, and only charged me for an hour of labor (although I suspect they spent more time than that.)I had to wait about three hours for my ride. They were hospitable and let me keep my stuff in their place, while I walked to eat. As I was standing there, stranded, random Stratford citizens kept coming up and asking if I needed help. Also, I had to wait outside, way after closing hours, and someone called the police, just to inform. (Not offended at all; I was a stranger and they were just looking out for each other.) The police called the owner/manager, just to let him know some random dude was standing outside his business, which the owner/manager, of course, explained. I actually really appreciated that call because no one knew me and they were just looking out for each other.Carquest and Stratford embody all the good stuff about living in a small town. Very good people here!BTW, the owner/manager helped a customer about half an hour after the 6:00 closing time on a Friday night. ‘Nuff said.

If I could give this place a zero I would, I went in there June 28 2023 and the guy in there was to busy talking, with no respect to customers, absolutely no customer service, after finally finding what I needed, was gonna pay with a credit card and the run down place wouldn't take but cash or check lol this place is ridiculous ? ?

I didn't have a good experience here. I took my car in for a state inspection. The guy couldn't figure out how to shift my car. Then he wouldn't listen to me when I was telling him how to get to the screen for the mileage. Then he got my bumper stuck on the curb.

Experience was great except that they don’t take credit cards. Had to run around at the last minute to get cash. Mechanic solved the problem with my truck and got us back on our road trip!
