I made an appointment for my Veteran disabled spouse in September 2023 for an eye exam. I was unable to attend with him as I am a doctor with a very full schedule. I called in advance to discuss his cognitive impairment. I was assured he would be taken care . He received the exam and was quite honestly told , he had 30 days to select frames included in the exam price. Recall I mentioned speaking directly about my spouses cognitive impairment with America’s Best. My spouse did not receive his frames . I called again , this time no answer for several hours. I don’t live far , I went there … explained his situation. I was told he could come pick out his frames Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 3:10 pm. We arrive at 2:56 pm , the receptionist is behaving irritably. I am accompanying my spouse, and I am skilled in customer service , I follow there instructions. We are asked to complete new documentation. I note incorrect data listed ( email incorrect - no address despite having been giving it ). I update the information , we wait patiently . Jeremy with a badge of General Manager assists us, I reiterate three times we are there to select my spouses frames as he did not when he was there 9/23. I am working with my spouse to select , we are seated … Jeremy unprofessional, cold , distant and aloft says it will be $79.95. I for the forth time explain he never received frames . I had visited the store two days prior in person to explain that , due to them verbalizing being willing to give my spouse his frames ( no additional cost ) I prepaid for in September 2023, I bought new frames for myself to support their business for $169.75 two days ago in honor of them verbalizing he can received the prepaid for frames from September 23. Jeremy the GM cared not. While I purchased the frames my Veteran disabled spouse needed for $79.95. I promptly requested a refund for the frames from two days ago. This office is highly disorganized. There are two other ladies outside of Jeremy that are absolutely unqualified to be employed there . They don’t answer the phone , I watched one of the receptionist clicking a button sending people to voicemail. Most of them seem incompetent . I too have purchased lenses and frames from here, after I receive my spouses lens/frames that is it! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! All Veterans avoid it! The most professional one there is the Assistant manager male with platinum highlights. This isn’t America’s Best in Sugarland, this is America’s Worst!! Be careful

I have a very positive experienced, especially with Sidney who was helping me. She’s was very friendly and helpful in choosing my eye glasses. And most importantly no waiting time.

They promote free exam when purchasing 2 frame glasses for $80 and when I got there they tried to charge me $60 for the exam plus frames. They also rush you when you try to get the frames, the most unorganized and lack of professionalism is what this place is all about. No wonder they have all of these negative reviews which I’m reading now. The manager and the lady at the front are both equally rude and clueless about what’s going on in there. To the owner if you are reading this review which I’m sure you would please get rid of your clueless and unprofessional people. This store doesn't even deserve a one star rating. It's a definite ZERO. No wonder everyone's rating it low and complaining about the management here. Seems like they're faking the 5 star ratings using fake accounts to look good. They need to shut down this store ASAP, I wish google can give us a option of either negative rating or 0 rating, so people wouldn’t be fooled

Best America’s Best location hands down! We visited this store after another location made multiple errors during my exam and with the eyewear I’d chosen. We decided to give the company another chance because we’ve been longtime customers of another location prior to relocating. I’m so happy we made that decision! Dr. Ahmed, Arturo (special shout out,) Derrion, Sidney, Sariya, and Lane all…the whole team…were so kind and pulled together to make sure the issues were resolved and my optical needs were met at the superior level we’ve come to expect and trust from America’s Best. From the exam to selection of eyewear to insurance and benefits, they made sure nothing was left uncovered or overlooked. Dr. Ahmed takes her time and approaches patients from both a medical and a holistic standpoint. Arturo went above and beyond to assist me with choosing proper eyewear to match my style and eyesight needs. The others in the team also gave insight to ensure another style opinion and that measurements matched. They also made sure to clarify all benefits and explain insurance and costs as well as things about frames and lenses and eye care the other store hadn’t. I can’t say enough positive words about their efforts and how thankful I am for everything they did to help me. I highly recommend!!!

Sidney was very helpful to any questions I had it being my first time getting glasses. She helped me to choose which frames fit me best and I love them! The staff is nice and welcoming as well :))

I was referred by a friend but this location is below customer satisfaction. No other customer in the store still wants me to wait 30 minutes so I left and went to another location on Willcres where I got a better attention.

I had an amazing experience on my visit today with Sidney com. She was very knowledgeable and helpful, she also Had suggestions that helped with my decisions on my Purchase. Her personality was very striking. Very nice young lady. Overall I had a pleasant visit. The manager Arturo was very nice and friendly as well. Very knowledgeable and helpful as well.

I was in and out very fast. Dr.Ahmed was extremely professional and informative. Perrin was extremely helpful as well. She understood the type of glasses that would work well with my prescription and was supportive and patient with me and even helped me to find glasses that I would like. Let me share with you that I will not use this company again so that other people do not experience the same thing.1. Customer service says that one location is full for appointments and did not suggest me to the location 10 minutes away.2. I was 3 minutes late for my appointment, they replaced me with someone else and said they would only give me an appointment for 1 week later. I have never seen such a bad service in my life, so I do not recommend it to anyone.
