Too bad i can give 0 star. Here is what happened. I have a personal line of credit. Showed up today. I was told it is closed. I was like, there is a mistake because i never closed it.The banker said, "Oh, year, they close automatically after 2 years."I said, "Look again!"Finally after one hour at the brach! And everyone got involved and they even called the main office, here what i was told by banker.Well, it is closed, and we dont know why. It is too much work to know why because we have to go back and see what happens. Your best bet is to apply again. I was can you close my account without any consent? He said yes. I said what kind of banking is that. He looked at me and said l, well the teller might have made a misand" and closed it by mistake. I said even though, dont you need my consent? He said probably not ... i was wow.He gave me different answers and didn't know what happened exactly. Plus, it is too much work to fond out.I was shocked. I close my all my business with them. Never go there again.

This branch doesn’t seem to be helpful. A person walked in behind me and said they were looking to open an account. I stated that I started the process online and was referred to a branch for verification purposes. They immediately said I needed to make an appointment but helped the other person right away. Like wow. I hope none of the other branches operate this way.

Worst customer experience I have ever received. I dropped in to settle the affairs of my deceased brother and was given an appointment for the following week. Arrived for my appointment and the young asian gentleman (who did not give his name or a business card) was 30 minutes lates. He was not prepared for the meeting when information was given the week prior. He basely has no interest in helping me to solve my brothers affairs and only provided me the advise of turning in the car. After receiving a call from his repo team Rebecca Reynolds, she provided me with information that should have been handled at the bank and therefore asked me to return to the bank because there was information that she could not provide but the bank should have. I was given her information for the bank rep to call her so we would all be able to talk. I made a another appointment in which again I had to wait 20 minutes. Arriving at the bank the asian rep was outside on the phone and proceeded to enter the bank, where he then begin texting on his phone. He did not acknowledge my present while standing in the bank to talk to him. I was then asked by banker did I need assistance and he in turn gave my drivers license to the young asian rep, who I had spoken to before. The asian rep appeared to be angry and when I begin talking and stated "the person you were talking to over the phone could have given you information." He then call the team member who I had given him information on but, would not put her on speaker phone for us to solve my brothers affairs. Then had a conversation and he then provided me with the information I was seeking with minimal conservation or information going forward. I really appreciate the help of Rebecca Reynolds who really cares about helping Truist customers. Long story short the young asian rep should be FIRED do to his lack of concerning and interest of services to the bank customers.

Tried opening an account online and they said they couldn’t verify my identity and to go to a local branch. Walk up and there is no one there but a teller. She calls the banker in as he was on the phone outside and he says I can’t open an account for you because I have an appointment that is running behind. Our appointments come first and you didn’t make one. Offered to wait and he said you have to make an appointment to speak with a banker and we are full today. I waited to see if that appt showed up and they didn’t. Don’t know why I wasn’t allowed to open an account.

Most racist bank ever. No one ever knows anything, they talk about the customers behind there back and make up their own rules. I wouldn’t recommend this bank to a homeless person. Rude and horrible client experience.

Is this a real bank, the amount of rudeness and dismissive behavior is amazing. If you bank with them close it out if you looking for a bank this is not it. I’m serious this is not it. The staff is trash.

I will never step foot in this bank again. Long story short the people who work there are extremely rude, and unwelcoming to the point I wanted to leave before even cashing my check.

Horrible bank wanted to open an account and they said they couldn’t do anything unless I had an appointment. Also walked in and waited about 5-8 minutes before someone actually talked to me. Never coming back to this branch

Horrible experience at the bank this morning. Recently moved to the area and my first check from work was a physical check because my direct deposit didn’t go through yet. The check was issued by Truist bank so I went there to get it cashed. Apparently they can’t cash their own checks. I was told that they had to call and verify that their own check was real, which I had no problem with, but once they called they said the person who verifies checks stepped out, this was 5 min after they opened and the person already stepped out. This was the only person who can verify their checks, they have a lot of branch locations but apparently only one person that verifies their own bank checks. After I was told he would be back in 5 min I decided to wait, 15-20 min go by and I go back and ask what is going on and tell them that I need to be at work in 10 min. They told me that the person still wasn’t back and because I was not a customer there was nothing they could do. Now if I knew that having an account with them would have made this easier I would have opened an account. Not once did they ask me if I was happy with my current bank nor did they asked me if I wanted to open up an account with them. It’s a bank that doesn’t offer customers their services, can’t cash their own checks and has only one person to verify their own checks because apparently nobody at their location could verify their own bank check that was issued by them which I think is insane. I walked across the street to BoA who I do not have an account with but do have a credit card with and they cashed the check in less than 5 min for an $8 fee from the bank that wouldn’t cash their own banks check. I thought the whole experience was insane and that I had to rely on BoA to cash another banks check.

Sold a car to Gillman Nissan & went to the Sugar Land BB&T location on Friday to cash the $14k check. Was told they didn't have that much on hand & that i would need to order it & they would have it in on the following Wednesday. Are you kidding me? A bank doesn't have $14k on hand? What a joke. Shame on Gillman for writing checks off a bank that won't cash them. Shame on BB&T for calling themselves a bank.
