Daiso is my go-to spot for all those random but super useful things around the house. You can find pretty much anything you need — from wire organizers and desk organizers to new towel sponges, utensils, and kitchen gadgets.
It’s like a treasure hunt every time you go, with tons of cute and practical stuff at great prices. Perfect for stocking up on everyday essentials without breaking the bank.

Do NOT go to these stores expecting Japanese prices! They have gone up $4-$5 dollars once you check out but the prices on the tags do not reflect this increase. We may as well go to five and below, Dollar General, Family Dollar and Dollar tree! It was very disappointing!! Plastic should NOT cost as much as they are charging in the United States now. I have NEVER spent over $50 in a Daiso for 7 items!!! Just to be clear, again I spoke with the representative on duty and she confirmed last week they have increased their prices $4-$5 but it is not reflecting on the sticker price yet and it is deceiving having the yen sticker price that’s cheaper than when you actually checkout! Just shop at your own risk!

I used to shop here often, it’s been a while since I’ve been here. I’m disappointed to say that I regret even giving Daiso my money. Why is it that this company has not bothered to fix the AC? They’ve been having issues with their AC since last year. They didn’t have AC all last summer as the same as this summer. What is going on with this company? Do you care so little about your employees to give 2 craps about them? I will no longer be giving Daiso my money, I will not support a business that clearly doesn’t care about their employees. This company only cares about their reputation and saving themselves. We all see the dirty tricks you guys are playing, whoever is above the manager, is just saving face! It’s so sad seeing these employees even work! 2 of the women whom I’ve seen today looked dehydrated, hot, sweaty, and horrible. How can any customers even still continue to shop here? All of you are just as bad! They have signs that they don’t have AC and people still choose to shop here?! I would love to see upper management come in and work here. It’s not a problem for them since they’re working in this terrible condition! Whoever they got to do their AC, they need someone better! I know people who can fix the AC in DAYS! Not months, DAYS! Daiso, do better !!!! I would love to talk to the employees to see what’s actually going on or if corporate is just lying to them too. Not to mention, one of the employees told me they won’t fix the AC until the 2nd week of September?!!!! If I were the employees, I would quit after knowing a company cares so little of me.

The only reason I am giving a one star is because of the lack of air conditioning which is making it unsafe not only for customers but employees as well. The employees are super sweet, but whoever the supervisor/franchisee needs to reprimand for the horrible working conditions they are making their employees work in. This has been happening for over two months, and it is unacceptable in this over 100 degree heat in Houston!

I normally love this store, but yesterday I went inside and there was ZERO air conditioning! I was shocked that they have THE audacity to have their customers and even more so their employees working in the 90 degree heat! Not a fan nor even had the door open to let some kind of ventilation in! I can’t stand places that are so money hungry they show no care for their employees and customers. And what appeared to be a young girl was working with a mini handheld fan behind the counter. Maybe the manager who is getting paid a lot more should be behind the register. There is ZERO excuse to keep a place open in those conditions. If I found out it was my child working like that, me and that manager would have some serious trouble. Stop being money hungry and close down when you are in extreme conditions like this!

When I walked in the store it felt like satan himself was blowing his hot breath into the place! I could barely stand it and had to leave I can’t imagine how bad it must be for the employees. Get some ac!!!!

Great cute trinkets. Owners have not fixed the AC for a couple of months. This is no way to treat employees in 90-100F Texan summers. Refuse to support this business until they start supporting their employees.

The staff was so friendly and helpful and they were organizing and stocking out New marchandise the whole time I was there. Unfortunately, the store's AC was out and it was unbearably hot inside. Somehow it was hotter in the store than it was outside! The staff told us that the AC was supposed to be fixed a while ago but nobody has gotten around to check on them. I feel so bad for the employees that were red in the face and had to carry around their personal fans because the hot air in the store must have felt terrible for them. Due to my heat sensitivity, I won't be coming back until it starts cooling down because it really was atrocious inside the store.
