There is very little variety of merchandise. The selection of sports bras is abysmal and the way the bras are displayed is a disaster. The young sales associate who tried to help me was very nice.

I came to this store for the first time. Many of the associates were kind and greeted me, and asked if we needed assistance. But the reason for my rating above, is because one of the associates a young Caucasian man name James who appears to work in the shoe department, or that’s where I noticed him, when I was asking for help. When I was trying to ask a question, he rudely said I’m helping someone at the time, and darted off quickly. VERY!!!VERY!!! RUDE YOUNG MAN!? I have worked in retail, and we watched films on the right way to treat customer, and the vibe you give off, based on your response. He could have easily said, I’m sorry I have a customer, at the time, but I will be with your shortly, or let me see if I can get someone else to assist you. He showed me he just didn’t want to help at all. So I noticed when it appeared he wasn’t helping anyone at the time, but just walking around. When coming towards him, to see if he is available to assist me, he hurriedly rushed off out of sight. This kind of associate will destroy the business at your location, if he is not coached and corrected on that kind of behavior. I always tell people the saying, that I’ve learned a long time ago, “The first Impression , is A lasting Impression” I’m going to try and look past my first impression, and hope that my return, will be a better experience.

Good place for basic fitness equipment. No real difference between Academy or Amazon. I was there to try the treadmills but help was hot or miss. They are pretty busy and seemed like they could some help. The treadmill I wanted was not in stock so I could order it online but there is no difference in price so I’ll probably go straight to the manufacturer.

Shoe department guy was rude, when we tried 5 different sizes in basketball section which were not fitting when no one there to help. Literally shoe guy came and started: stating we don’t know shoe sizes , it a no to request too many shoe sizes, are we there for a nice look of shoes or for games shoes despite in basketball section. When realize the common size is not fitting then only tried some suggestions and stating to order custom shoe somewhere. Despite that we got one pair which seems reasonably fitted. Two star becaz store was clean and check out experience was fine.
