I came to this store for the first time. Many of the associates were kind and greeted me, and asked if we needed assistance. But the reason for my rating above, is because one of the associates a young Caucasian man name James who appears to work in the shoe department, or that’s where I noticed him, when I was asking for help. When I was trying to ask a question, he rudely said I’m helping someone at the time, and darted off quickly. VERY!!!VERY!!! RUDE YOUNG MAN!? I have worked in retail, and we watched films on the right way to treat customer, and the vibe you give off, based on your response. He could have easily said, I’m sorry I have a customer, at the time, but I will be with your shortly, or let me see if I can get someone else to assist you. He showed me he just didn’t want to help at all. So I noticed when it appeared he wasn’t helping anyone at the time, but just walking around. When coming towards him, to see if he is available to assist me, he hurriedly rushed off out of sight. This kind of associate will destroy the business at your location, if he is not coached and corrected on that kind of behavior. I always tell people the saying, that I’ve learned a long time ago, “The first Impression , is A lasting Impression” I’m going to try and look past my first impression, and hope that my return, will be a better experience.

Kudos to Kevin who helped me with the purchase of my bicycle today. He listened to me and attended to my needs. If I am in need of a bike again, I would definitely drive from Katy to Sugarland location for it. You saved the day without any complaints. Thank you, thank you!. Terrence at the cashier was so nice and friendly. Great customer service guys. Thank you.

My wife went by Dick’s to buy some golf balls, gloves and outfits. She also wanted to buy a new Callaway hybrid. When she asked the attendant if they had a demo, he responded no it was a set worth$4000 dollars and it was too expensive. He embarrassed my wife who knows how much a set of clubs cost. He was insinuating she could not afford it. So she left the store without buying anything. Poor service at your store. Wednesday at about noon or so.

Love the location of this Dick’s and 2x we’ve had the friendliest and most helpful staff member checking us out: Mal!! Knowledgeable, efficient and all around hard worker. You’re lucky to have him!

Don’t bother them at the bike section. Look around and wait for them to come help you, but they won’t, so find somewhere else to buy a bike. That is all.

My fiancé purchased a gift card for me for Christmas in the amount of $350.00. We live up in Minnesota and somehow the gift card was fraudulently used in person at this location on December 4th - my gift card hadn’t even been gifted to me yet and was sitting wrapped under our Christmas tree. It was used towards multiple pairs of the same shoe which was suspicious enough in itself. After talking to countless customer service representatives and filing a claim, Dick’s is refusing to replace the gift card so my fiancé is just out $350.00. Horrible experience and will no longer be a customer. Staff need more training to identify suspicious transactions and the company needs a better system for gift card fraud.
