First off, I love shoe shopping. DSW always has what I’m looking for and this time didn’t disappoint. I was looking for some running shoes and was immediately greeted by GiGi. She assisted me in finding what I was looking for and had a great attitude. While checking out the young lady checking me out was great! She patiently assisted me with my exchange and moved quickly. I would recommend this location! Awesomeness customer service !

Dear corporate, why your employees telling us they close at 8pm, when you close at 9pm, and there's other people shopping. My assumption is they want to close early. That's fine, I understand wanting to close early, especially for a federal holiday. Don't need to lie though

It was easy to find an employee to help me order the shoe size I wanted in a black pump. I hope they'll fit. The ones I wanted weren't being made anymore in my shoe size.

An ok place to shop, since items are so expensive. Not an ok place to work, this will be my review for WORKING there. I got hired in November 2021, because of my brother in law. Keep in mind he looks white (which he is not) but he looks pure white and I am Mexican, he basically put me on the job. At first the main manager Richelle was nice. Then my brother in law QUIT. After that I started to notice how she treated me differently. Even my co workers noticed. She would put me on the schedule to close with her(only me), yet I would be the only one actually doing work. Taking care of the whole store, and this was multiple times. There was also one time I worked with her and this white boy which I don’t know his name. She would call ONLY me on the walkie-talkie to do something, never saw him once do anything so of course again I had to take care of the whole store. And at the end of those days she would say “doesn’t look bad for one person cleaning”, when I left it was always spotless when I would work ALONE. There would be times where she DEMANDED me to do something not ASK me, like a normal person. There was this one time where I had covid and I told her and she said “you don’t get covid pay unless you provide a positive test”, so I took a test but by the time I sent it to her SHE TOOK ME OFF THE SCHEDULE so I wouldn’t get covid pay. I’ve reached out to HR and they did nothing, I reached out to multiple people, emailed them, and called them. No help what so ever. There would be times she would mockingly talk SPANISH to the Hispanic workers. Saying “gracias” and then laughing. Also happened multiple times. She would always act so nice in front of customers with me, but when they weren’t around it was different. Then came November 2022 (somewhere around there) I did a leave of absence for school. When it ended I texted her multiple times that she can put me back on the schedule, yet she didn’t. Then came May 2023, she called me saying she has no hours what so ever for me, PRACTICALLY telling me to put my 2 weeks in so I said “Am I supposed to put my 2 weeks in” and she said “if that’s what you want”…. Well what else is there for me to do? She said there’s no hours for me. So I contacted the (amazing) managers she FIRED, they all said that was wrong and illegal. Don’t get fooled by it, it’s just an act. Never again will I work with someone so privileged again.
