Great experience. Came in for wash and style of my sew in that wasn’t blending well at all. This looks way more natural also I was able to get an appointment same day I called which I really appreciated.

Joy, I did NOT damage your hair, the hair was of horrible quality when brought!!!!! Let’s be honest, you continued to offer remedies on how to salvage the hair when this shouldn’t have had to be done!!!! When the hair is good, the hair is good! I brought RAW hair directly from a vendor, for the same price that you charged and I haven’t had one problem!!! It’s AMAZING quality! The hair has been bleached and everything and the it is still AMAZING!!! So kill it with the excuse of someone damaged your hair!!! Furthermore, I blocked YOU (JOY) because instead of saying what a reputable company would say, which is please return the hair and let me make this right….you continued to come up with remedies to repair the hair! Like who does that? And you know damn well you didn’t refund my money!!! So please STOP lying to the internet! You received your hair back and you kept my money!!!

They’re amazing ! Great customer service . They’re all friendly and polite! Very welcoming and skilled at what they do. They take their time but not all day, and handle your head with care in the most effective way to deliver your style exactly how you want it in pristine condition! The establishment was nice and clean. You can tell Joyce truly cares about the quality of work which leaves the salon. They(the stylist) seem to have a great working relationship which overall works for a cohesive work environment. Great job Joyce and her team at Hair Tyme Beauty Lounge!!!
China Clutch was my stylist and she also received some assistance from another awesome stylist, Lexi. They both were very knowledgeable and confident in themselves or their ability to ensure a satisfied customer most importantly. I received a sew in from the salon’s Treasure Box special. It is relatively comfortable. I haven’t experienced any tugging of any sorts on my edges nor nape (back hairline) area. I will definitely be a returning customer!! Go by and see what’s in store for you at Hair Tyme Beauty Lounge with Joyce and her amazing staff!!

2 MONTH REVIEW UPDATE….as a licensed stylist myself I understand paying homage where it’s due and the best advertisement is walking clientele!! With that being said, I’m at the 2month mark of my install and COUNTING!! Throughout my wearing of it over the past 2 months, I have absolutely no complaints!! I have not had any issues with any of my threads coming loose, still no tugging of any sorts and today I went in for a shampoo and closure maintenance with Chyna!! As before, she was amazing but y'all, when I say she out did herself with this closure…..SHE DID EXACTLY THAT!!! My curls have dropped a bit on this humid day so I’m only uploading a photo of the closure for now!

I’m not sure why I received an email requesting a review. I haven’t been back here since my first time in December 2018.
The only thing I didn’t like was that the person I booked with for a silk press was very late. I appreciate her honesty regarding her not being knowledgeable on trims. So the owner trimmed my hair and I have to say I loved my trim.

visited Houston for the week and needed last minute cornrows. the shop had a lovely set up and the staff was very warm and helpful. the cornrows came out wonderfully and I received the best service i’ve ever had at a salon. definitely coming back!

I had an appointment with Joyce yesterday and had the most amazing experience. Everyone in the shop is welcoming and professional. It is very hard to find a stylist that is very passionate about her craft that she takes time to mentor stylist. I am so pleased with my versatile sew in and have received many compliments. I am a client for life.

Was referred by a friend to this spot & haven’t been anywhere else since. Been a loyal customer happily for a few years now . Very convenient family oriented atmosphere & professionalism literally don’t see any reason to go anywhere else. Oh yea & can’t forget the talent is unmatched. Highly recommend.

The person who answers the phone very rude and extremely unprofessional. I was excited about booking an appointment for a silk press and encouraged me NOT to book. Strange business practice. A few weeks ago I called asking for the price of two cornrows, and was told $100. I responded that feels overpriced for just two. I decided to look elsewhere for the service and found a great reasonably priced braider. Just now I called asking about a silk press I was very excited about getting. I said I wanted to know what comes with a silk press and pricing. She made me repeat myself 3 times then put me on hold. Odd. When she came back she said, I remember you you say out salon is too overpriced for you and that was that. Weird turning away customers for one service because they don't want all of them.
