I had such a great experience shopping at Hot Topic for my son’s birthday! Drew and Claudia went above and beyond to help us find everything we needed. They were super attentive, friendly, and made the whole shopping trip fun and easy. Honestly, some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Huge thanks to them for making my son’s birthday shopping special!

Thank you drew for the amazing customer service walked through the store with my family. Went above and beyond in order to get shirts from the top for us. It was my sons birthday and my son felt very important and listened to and that’s what mattered most thank you for the excellent customer service experience

Have not been to Hot Topic in awhile. But my visit was indifferent. The store had a few customers and two employees were at the register. The clothes were not folded (some on the floor), and figures scattered across the store in odd places.
When I went to make an inquiry about a product the employee I had came into contact with was not friendly at all to say the least. She had an attitude and was very unpleasant.
I went to the second employee for answers and they were very helpful, answered all my questions and made a sale.
When I asked them the issue of the other employee, was told that Claudia was an employee with special needs and Hot topic is open to hire anyone in need. Was informed that her legal guardians had to even brush her teeth for her since she refused (which I believed because her mouth was full of plaque, yellow stained and crooked).
I should've known from her mannerism, slurred words, lack of communication skills and drool leaking from her mouth.
I am grateful to be served by a helpful employee and I am also grateful that the Hot Topic company is open and hiring those with disabilities.

Worst experience at hot topic I left feeling dehumanized… KELLY I hope you know being biased towards men is rude! You helped the man and told him about all the deals but when it was my turn , I had to ask… when I asked you made remarks about how I really wanted to get discounts… rude … and doesn’t smile

Love this store. And I super love this location because the staff is always very nice and chill. Kelly is hands down fave person from here. She's very sweet and polite and she doesn't just make me feel like another customer. She makes conversation and is genuinely sincere in her approach. This girly here deserves a raise? thank you for a wonderful shopping experience!

I love Hot Topic, I grew up shopping there and still shop there as an adult. I never leave without buying something. The First Colony mall location is amazing , the associates are very helpful when trying to find the right size or item.
