I had two wonderful experiences at this store with two very kind and knowledgeable ladies helping me. Mary Jean assisted me with placing my Grandmother's charms on a new bracelet and telling me the history of some of the charms & told me which were retired. She then carefully counted each link of the bracelet to ensure my charms would be evenly spaced throughout! When I returned to the store for pickup, Marion explained how Mr. Avery specially designed the sand dollar charm to show a lily on the back and a poinsettia on the front (I may be recalling the flowers incorrectly). These ladies made these visits very personal and provided excellent service. Although the store was busy, I didn't feel rushed or like a number in line.

As a native Houstonian, I've always loved James Avery jewelry. Last night at 9:45PM I placed an order online. This morning at 8:45AM, having realized that I'd fat-fingered the delivery address and was off by one digit, I called JA Customer Service at 800-283-1770. Stephanie said my order - a personalized/engraved piece - was already being "processed" and therefore to update the delivery address would require a $12 re-direct fee.I said for sure the piece wasn't even created much less being shipped. She said, "it's being processed...". James Avery isn't cheap jewelry but their customer service helpline standard is most certainly lacking in meeting expectations. For sure. Frustrated and disappointed!So from North Carolina, I'll online-search to find and "meet" my gift recipient's Houston neighbor... SMH

Careful with your jewelry. They will lose it and not own up to their mistakes, even when you have proof. They will make excuses and blame you for whatever reason. No type of customer service here and over at corporate. The associate at the store had even said corporate wasn’t going to help. And Well she was right. I reached out and nothing. I will now take my business over at Pandora, I will spread the word and no I will not send an email to speak about this again. Unbelievable

Great customer service… for the most part. As someone who works in hospitality, I find it so rude for someone to fake being genuine. However, Miss Rebecca, the Sales Team (supervisor?) sure did change her tone when I asked to leave a review and seemed upset. Half way through the scripted greeting she said “good” and started walking away, as I was talking to her! Don’t be a robot, take time to get to know your customer and their needs. I was in the store for 5 minutes to pick up, and decided I didn’t even want to look around anymore.Michael (I'm so sorry I don’t know your last name!), and Miss Karen (so sweet), thank you SO MUCH for all of your help. I hope to be back in the future.

customer service is excellent but shipping process I wrote the address down and they still wrote a different address for the gift to be delivered too. I hope my friend receives her birthday gift.
