Customer service here sucks. Employees on their phones, no greeting. Rolling eyes and talking amongst eachother. Looks like this store needs a whole new staff

I scanned my own groceries. I had a basket and no where to place it other than having to carry my bags out and basket on the way out. Cashier finally helped but the lack of care for the customers is going extreme. If you do NOT have low prices at least please have the cashiers be a bit more helpful. They usually just stand there looking around while we scan and bag all.

Nobody could tell me why the doors by the pharmacy were closed at 7:25pm when the door says 8pm. All I know is the young woman with a blonde wig, red jacket and piercings working the self checkout needs to work on her customer service and check her attitude at the door before clocking in.

Horrible customer service. Ordered pick up and they sent me home with someone else’s groceries. When I returned to give the wrong groceries back and get my correct order, I was met with excuses. Manager blaming the previous shift. Said I could come back later. What? Said no one else available to assist. I said - what about you? That is what leaders do - step up and support their teams.

I had a very disappointing experience at kroger university blvd sugar land location. The staff members weren’t ready to assist and one of them came unwillingly and was rude and dismissive when we tried to ask for help. Instead of listening of what we wanted. She ignored us on purpose and then accused us of yelling, even though we were not. She also refused to assist in a very unprofessional way. I expect better customer service and kindness when shopping, and unfortunately this visit left me very upset. I hope management addresses this issue so future customers are treated with respect because we do not feel like making any more purchases after that horrible experience. Ok, i’ve been waiting to review the store for months. Hoping that re: posts on Nextdoor with all the negative comments that I agree with, would be fixed. Unfortunately, the store is filthy. There are flies and gnats around most of the fruits and vegetables. The employees are rude and constantly on their phones. Worse, lately the last three times there have been there, no carts available not in the store not right outside the entry not even in the parking lot. When going to a manager two of them today looked like deer in the headlights! They had no idea how to resolve getting carts to the customers. Also, 70% of the carts are lopsided or extremely hard to push or locked on the wheels for some reason. I am now going to H-E-B in Sienna, which is 12 miles away from my house. It’s worth it.

We bought a bag of Pedigree dog food from the Kroger store on 7/5/25. However, when we checked the packaging a week later, we were shocked to discover that the product had already expired on 10/29/24, meaning it had been sitting on the shelf for nearly a year after its expiration date.
Not only is this incredibly frustrating, but it raises serious concerns about the store’s inventory management. It’s unacceptable for a product to be sold well past its expiration date, especially when it directly affects the health and well-being of pets. We trusted Kroger to provide safe, fresh products, and instead, we ended up with food that was harmful to our dog.
We are extremely disappointed that this product was not removed from the shelf and that we were unknowingly sold expired dog food. We’ll think twice before buying pet food from Kroger again, and we would strongly advise others to check expiration dates carefully before purchasing any pet food from this store.

This review is for the bakery. We have ordered birthday cake from this Kroger’s bakery several times. Each time we were positively surprised with the quality and taste of the cake. I just ordered a small cake for my daughter’s birthday at the last minute. The bakery staff was very friendly and arranged lovely flowers on top of the cake based on the age of my daughter. It tastes great again as usual. We cannot be more happy and would recommend this bakery for your cake orders.
We have also shopped at this grocer for other normal food and life items and have always had a very positive experience, with food fresh and of good quality, and great discounts offered through the Kroger card membership. The membership also incudes a discount at the gas station in front of the store. We tried the pick up services a few times and it was great too when we did not have the time to go into the store. We enjoyed shopping at this Kroger and also the other Kroger location.

Terrible customer service.
Bought a rotten coconut and when I tried to return it, the manager Abraham (manager) couldn’t care less. Told me to come back another time because it was “after hours.” Completely dismissive. Won’t be shopping here again.

This is a relatively new store. Everything is clean and fresh. One thing preventing me from returning is the inaccuracy of their prices. Either the management is highly incompetent, or it is a scam: we went there almost every week, and every single time, at least two items had prices incorrectly scanned at the register. I talked to management a few times, but they never made any corrections.

They had 2 day old expired juice & I bought it without checking (on feb 21). After buying & opening the seal, I checked the date & saw it was expired. Since I broke the seal & drank it, I couldn't return it, it was too late. I should have known better considering it was the last carton in stock on the shelf, but I gave Kroger the benefit of the doubt since they're a large corporation & wouldn't keep expired foods on the shelves for 2 days but boy was I wrong. Unacceptable Kroger🙄😮💨
