Since we started with private tutoring in 2002, our focus has been on helping students understand versus simply "knowing" math. We strive to maintain a comfortable environment for students to learn as well as enjoy their learning experiences away from school!
I took his SAT Prep over the summer, and he improved my score by over 150 points! He made time for us to ask questions and went really in depth with his expectations. Not only was he patient with all of the students, but he also made the learning process easier through his expertise.

This placed has gotten me through pre algebra to pre calculus and everything in between. It's easy to talk to Mr. Jan when I don't understand something and he finds different ways to explain it to different kids. He has also taught me tips and tricks that one cannot learn in the classroom, and it has gotten me really far!!
