The front office manager Ms. Brenda and all his classroom teachers Ms. Laura, Ms. Katia, Ms. Sheila and even chef/teacher support staff Ms. Rifa and her great meals; as well, as after care teacher Ms. Sadya has been so caring of my son's growth and development at CLA. They definitely feel like home and aunties to our family! We love that even as he moves to Kindergarten, he can attend for school breaks and aftercare and see familiar adult faces and some of the friends he grew up with. ❤”

“LFP is a very warm and welcoming school. The greatest strength of this school is its teachers. They treat the children as if they were their own, remembering not only the students in their classes but also the names of other children, and greeting them warmly every morning.

Although my son was not confident in English at first, he was welcomed with open arms. LFP was the perfect place for his first school experience in the United States. We are truly grateful.”

“My son started school here a couple of months ago, and it has been fantastic! He loves his teachers (Ms. Mia, Ms. Judy, and Ms. Jenelle) as well as the school staff (Ms. Laura, Ms. Carina, and Ms. Flo). He has made lots of friends and is enjoying his new learning environment. He also loves having access to a bunch of cool activities, like Piano Truck, Soccer Shots, etc. Everyone at the school has been very welcoming and supportive of not just my son, but of me as well!”

“Our family has been at Spanish Schoolhouse for two school years and one entire summer. Our daughter has had such a positive experience in the 18 month and 2 year old classroom. She is making lifelong friends, gets to do fun activities everyday and is learning important skills. You get quarterly reports of their academic progress, the teachers constantly come up with fun activities for each week that help develop the kids fine and gross motor skills. There isn’t much turnover so your kids teachers and aides are consistently the same. At the end of the year the kids put on one of the cutest dance performances you could imagine. You get daily photos and updates and the school is extremely welcoming.”

“My daughter love this school. The staff is friendly and understanding. Every day when I pick my daughter up from school she always make sure to tell every staff member good-bye. She comes home singing a new nursey rhyme that was taught in class, making animal sounds and naming that animal. She's only 2 and can count pass 20. My daughter has learned so much while attending this school. She has been there since she was about 10 months old. “As a parent, I truly cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible impact Greatwood Montessori has had on my son’s growth and development.

When he first joined the school, he had quite a bit to catch up on. Naturally, I was concerned about how he would adjust and whether he would be able to keep up. But over the past almost two years, Miss Jen and Miss Chiatu have gone above and beyond in ways that have completely exceeded my expectations.

They have nurtured him with patience, intention, and genuine care. Not only have they strengthened his foundation in numbers and the alphabet, but they have also guided him into reading confidently at just 4 years old—which still amazes me. Beyond academics, I’ve watched my son grow into a more confident and emerging leader, which speaks volumes about the environment they’ve created in their classroom.

“I don’t even have kids here, but I pick up my niece from time to time and every time I come in I’m honestly impressed. Everybody always seems happy, from the teachers to the kids. No matter who is at the front, someone is always saying hello or smiling when you walk in. You can just tell people enjoy being there.

My niece is in Mrs. Stephanie’s class and every time I walk by, they’re doing something fun. I’ve seen different projects hanging up and all kinds of things. It doesn’t look like the kids are just sitting around all day. You can tell a lot of thought goes into what they do.

One thing I really like is no matter what Mrs. Lauren is doing, she always stops to speak to people and ask how they are and it always makes me feel welcome when she does it to me. You can tell she genuinely cares about the families and the staff. The whole place feels welcoming and organized.

I’ve been to a lot of daycares picking up family members over the years and this one just feels different. The kids look happy, the staff seem happy, and the environment is positive. Honestly, if my kids were little again, this is where I’d want them to go. It just feels like a happy place.”

“The School for Little Children is truly something special. The staff are wonderfully personable, loving and genuinely caring—they go above and beyond to make every student feel seen and supported. From the front office staff (Kristie, Mara and Heidi) to the teachers (Ms. Melvin, Ms. D’Agnolo) and their wonder aides (Ms. Weir and Ms. Janek) to the music teachers, Chapel leaders, STEAM teachers and everyone else, my kiddo absolutely loves going each day. EVERYONE has been amazing! The friendships my daughter has built there have been such a joy to watch blossom. She can definitely be a challenge at times—an independent little soul who values her autonomy—but the team has embraced that part of her and helped her grow in the most beautiful ways.
