Took my granddaughter to lighten her hair because she messed it up. They charged me $280. For color and highlights, which was OK but then to charge me $50 to blow it dry what did they want me to do leave with it wet and not even know if we like the color Beyond ridiculous

Helen. I am so much more confident with my haircut that she gave me. She listened to my woes and cut my hair with crazy precision and offered a shampoo that left me feeling like I wanted to feel. I not only will be coming back I suggest anyone come see Helen for Hair Cut

This was my first visit to Strands. Upon entering I was very pleased with the comforted feeling. The receptionist was welcoming and pleasant. Fariba took me back for my shampoo and haircut. She listened and heard all that I asked for, I couldn't be more pleased with how my hair felt and looked . She is a awesome haircutter/stylist and has a wonderful personality. I have finally found my permanent salon and stylist. I just pray Fariba never leaves! Thank you so much Strands and Fariba you guys are amazing!!

Very friendly environment to get your hair done. The stylists there have a lot of knowledge from hair color to haircuts and perms you name it. You can also find high quality products for at home hair maintenance. It's a great Salon to take your family!

Overpriced, and not good at all. The lady didn't ask any questions, just started, put bleach on my very short hair, in fact it caused a chemical burn on my scalp. I would not recommend this place.

I’ve been to numerous stylist in the last 2 yrs. I was lucky enough to call Strands and hit the jackpot having Helen as my stylist. She gave me the exact short pixie I wanted. My searching is over, I found my permanent stylist with Helen!

EDITED from 1 to 4 stars: The owner, Mrs. Julia, personally called to apologize and refunded me $30 to help rectify the situation. I was informed that the hairdressers are contracted out. Therefore, I would recommend going over pricing before sitting in a chair so you're not surprised when it's time to pay for services. I really appreciate Mrs. Julia's sincerity and customer service. ------------------- I went to this salon based off of reviews and service prices listed online. The establishment was nice and clean on the inside, there were only two hairdressers working with the rest of the chairs sitting empty. The original hairdresser I had booked with had a migraine and called out, so I was rescheduled with Helen. She cut my both children's hair. Both of my girls had trims only - maybe an inch a piece on dry, clean hair. That's it. No wash, no dry, no curl or style. Just trims. Based off the pricing online, I was expecting to pay maybe $20 per child (online said kids cuts are $13 and up). They charged me $100! For two trims! When I asked the front desk receptionist about the high prices, she verified with me that they had not received any additional services that would make the price increase that much, stated that she didn't believe the website had been updated in a while & that basically the hairdresser set those prices and there was nothing she could do about it. She was sweet and kept apologizing but I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. The prices are outrageous and it's basically a "well, that's just how it is" attitude. I expect more out of a Sugar Land business. Very disappointed.

I have been going to Strands for a few years now and it is the only place I trust with my hair. Everyone is nice, and it is usually pretty quiet in the salon. Complimentary cold drinks. I go for a wash, cut, and blow dry and my visit comes out to $75+tip.I get my haircut by Helen, who is super sweet and easy to talk to. My hair always feels so silky afterwards that I’ve started using the products that she uses too. I have used Danny before and he is also very nice!
