Cockroaches are everywhere. The gate and public pool often take weeks—or even months—to get fixed. The hot tub is usually out of order, working maybe one day out of seven. Despite all these ongoing repair needs, the property management seems more focused on checking whether trash bins are left in the hallway during the day and issuing fines.

I lived at Telfair Lofts for 8 years and can’t imagine a better location to live in in the outer Houston area! Great place for families and very pet friendly! The whole staff is friendly and amazing. I’m always met with Axl and Jordyn’s smiling faces when I walk in the leasing office and they are always very helpful. Those two really made this residence into a home!

Jordyn and Axl are amazing! They were very professional while giving me a virtual tour of the complex. They gave clear and concise explanations of amenities, expectations for the lease, and answered any questions I asked them with poise. I would definitely consider leasing here when I decide to make the move.

This place is amazing and absolutely beautiful!! As soon as I enter I was greeted with 2 amazing smiles by 2 amazing you women! Immediately I felt like I need to live. But to be totally honest I was only doing a delivery. But to be treated as a resident it’s making me think about relocating from the downtown area to move out here because of the great customer service, amazing amenities, and my goodness you should see the pool!! It looks like a resort! This apartment complex and staff need to be DOWNTOWN!! This is luxury at its best . Thank you Jordyn and I didn’t get the other young ladies name!! For the amazing tour and experience!! I suggest if your looking for 5 star and please people no place is perfect but this is worth every penny you spend to live in a home with great amenities and amazing customer service! This is a place where you can ❤️ where you live !!

I had a very disappointing experience with their leasing office while trying to move to Houston from out of state. Initially, the leasing officer was eager to get me settled in quickly and even suggested I could move in the same day I arrived. Based on this, I booked a flight, expecting to move in the following day.
However, after my application was approved, the leasing officer informed me that I couldn’t move in the same day because my flight wouldn’t arrive until after 6 PM. The issue wasn’t just that I couldn’t move in; it was that this information wasn’t communicated to me in a timely manner. I had already booked my flight, believing I could move in the next day. When I asked if it would be possible for the key to be left for me, the leasing officer immediately became defensive, speaking to me in a very demeaning and almost egotistical tone, rather than offering any kind of apology or solution. She told me she would check with her manager, but when she called back, she said it wasn’t possible.
I took some time to reflect on the situation, feeling humiliated, and then called her back. I asked if another leasing officer could assist with my application, but once again, she got defensive, insisting that she was already working on it. She then offered to let me speak with her manager, which I reluctantly agreed to.
When I spoke with the manager, my concerns were completely dismissed. I explained that my complaint was about the lack of timely communication and the tone of the leasing officer, and I also mentioned that I had seen other recent reviews with similar complaints. The manager responded by saying that those reviews were outdated and that the leasing officers involved were no longer with the building. However, this wasn’t true, as the reviews I had seen were recent, which made me feel like my experience wasn’t being taken seriously.
At this point, it became clear that the building wasn’t open to acknowledging their mistakes or offering any meaningful apology. I asked if I could cancel my application without losing money, since I had already paid both an application fee and an administrative fee. The manager told me I would lose the $65 application fee but would get the rest refunded. I still haven’t received that refund.
My experience with this leasing office was frustrating and disappointing. Once you’ve paid your fees, their behavior changes, and they seem to focus more on defending their actions than on customer satisfaction. The lack of accountability and the dismissive tone made me feel that they don’t truly value or respect their customers. I’d be cautious when dealing with this office moving forward.

We are current resident at this apartment complex and I strongly advise anyone against moving to this apartment complex. The elevators are constantly out of order, and as someone with a young child, it's an absolute nightmare trying to carry groceries, diapers, and other essentials up and down multiple flights of stairs. It’s exhausting and difficult. The staff is unhelpful and never provides any real answers when you ask about the issues. The gates don't work, the fob don't work either. All they answer is we are working on it. It's been weeks and no issue has been resolved. It feels like they don't care about the residents at all. Save yourself the frustration and find somewhere else to live—this place is a complete disaster.

I had to extend my lease for an extra three month before I moved out and thought it is an one-time lease and my move-out intention is clear. I did receive an email two months earlier but it happened during my vacation and was buried in junk emails. It ended up with me paying an extra one and half month rent no matter how I communicated with them. It appears they silently waited your mistakes and took advantage of it. The move-out experience is horrible as well, the worst I had in Sugar Land. Initially, I wanted to pay the $150 fee for them to take care of the cleaning, but after walk-through, they said they possibly will charge more for floor, refridge, wall cleaning. We will see how much I can get back my deposit. The staff either does not know how much these will cost or wanted to explore these from me. They said the normal wear-and-tear of the oven could cost me $500 for replacing the flat top. The apartment is old with mold smells making living experience pretty bad. I had chance visited one more room and found the same smell exists both in my room and the the one I visited. They are indeed close to COSTCO and a nice neighborhood with a hiking trail around a manmade lake. But in my opinion, bad staffing and old building make it a bad choice of living.

Axl was phenomenal on our tour. The staff is very personable and kind and is dedicated to caring for their residents. The facility is beautiful, clean, and well taken care of. The units shown were just as lovely as the external facade. The amenities are top-notch to match their service, I hope they have apartments available closer to my move in date so I can make this my future home!

I️ am a delivery driver for Telfair Lofts, and this is my favorite stop of the day. The leasing staff is very friendly and always offers great guidance to get the packages where they need to be. During the holiday months they even set out snacks and drinks for all delivery drivers. Every time I️ visit the property is clean, well kept and just overall seems like a great place to live ! Jordyn, Axl Gabby and James work hard to make this place as awesome as it is ! 10/10
