Disappointing Service and Battery Issue Ignored
I had a very disappointing experience at this location on June 11. The staff seemed uninterested and unmotivated—only a couple of people had any kind of friendly demeanor. Most of the employees ignored customer questions, and there was a general lack of communication.
I brought my car in because the battery, which I had purchased from this location (and is still under warranty), was failing. AutoZone had previously tested it and recommended a replacement. At the counter, one employee checked my invoice and took my key, then handed it off to a service technician. I waited inside, saw the car being tested, and then it disappeared—so I assumed they were doing a road test.
Nearly an hour passed with no updates. I tried asking staff members what was happening with my car, but no one responded or seemed to care. A woman at the counter even refused to help because I didn’t have the service intake form—something I was never given in the first place.
Eventually, I found my car parked outside, in a place that wasn’t visible from the service area. It took extra time to get my key back, again because there was no paperwork showing I had dropped it off. I was told the battery tested fine, yet in the past week alone, I’ve had to jump-start the car three times.
This kind of service is unacceptable—especially when dealing with a warranty issue. I expected more professionalism and basic communication. Definitely not coming back here.
Update as of June 18:
Due to the same battery failure in my vehicle, I was stranded on the road again. I first went to the nearest Walmart Supercenter at 22850 Morton Ranch Rd, Katy, where I waited in line, only to be told when it was my turn that they didn’t have a replacement battery of the same size. I then drove to the 25108 Market Pl Dr, Katy location, where I experienced the same issue. Finally, I was able to get the battery replaced at the 1313 N Fry Rd, Katy location. Unfortunately, I lost another half a day dealing with this problem.

The overall service was satisfactory. I visited Walmart for an oil change and tire service, and while the wait time was a bit longer than expected, the job was completed properly. The initial technician—a Hispanic gentleman—was very polite and professional, which I appreciated. However, the rest of the staff could benefit from improved professionalism and a more customer-friendly attitude. A little more attention to courteous service would make the experience much better.

I walked in to the pharmacy and bought to set of reading glasses.
Paid with my OTC card, and it said approved. No balance and no receipt, and, yes I asked for a printed copy of the transaction, the girl flailed her hands around and said I owed money, very tired and heat exhausted, I gave back the glasses confused, got to my buggy I had parked and walked out.
The people out side and the members of the community that I'm new to, are in insulting awe, that I was treated by theft by the pharmacy, I still have not returned to get my Rx, and the ramen today was the second chance other than ,McDonalds, that was very helpful.
I told a few community members ,I didn't wanna be a yelling, mad man, due to not feeling good, but they claimed I should have said something, I was so tired and needing my med. This was Saturday June, 21, 2025
I still need to go gety Rx... When I feel like it, and hope nothing goes wrong or I'm video taped.

I am done with this store. They keep selling us spoiled meat. First time ruined our dinner selling us spoiled salmon. Now today spoiled ribs. Waste my time and money because I have smoker going and ribs stink like road kill. And to make it worse, They wont respond to complaints. They do not want to make it right. They do not care.

The place is good, but whenever I go looking for fried chicken they never have it and I'm left wanting.

Decent selection and prices. The size of the store and parking discourage quick trips especially for older or busier people. Not top quality, more oriented towards disposable products, but convenient nevertheless

This store is near my office and I stopped in before work one morning recently to get some nail polish. The ENTIRE cosmetic section is under lock and key. I found someone to open the case for me and she took the nail polish from me after I grabbed it and said she had to put it in a security box unless I wanted to pay for it there in the cosmetics section register. It was a $5 bottle of polish. I laughed and told her to keep it, I would order from Amazon. She apologized and looked embarrassed. Walmart will be the death of brick and mortar.
